This little place has very good food! Some of the best fried mushrooms I’ve had! The staff was very friendly to us and very helpful with the menu. The location of the restaurant is a tiny bit confusing to find – don’t go to the address by following Google directions. Go PAST the address it gives you (that is the pro shop for the golf course) and the restaurant will be less than a quarter mile up the road on your right. The restaurant has lots of cool architectural elements, but you can tell the building is a little run down from normal wear-and-tear over the years. I would not recommend this place for people with knee problems – lots of stairs to go up and down. Overall a good experience here!

Must try it’s amazing amazing amazing!!! Can’t say it enough. Everything from their Pizza to Gourmet specials are excellent. They have something for everyone. We are foodies and very picky but they filled in all our boxes. Small and causual but with upscale flavors. If you ask us were we want to eat…we will say THE LOCAL!

We enjoyed our experience at the soft opening. We were seated immediately with a 6pm reservation. The fish and chips were excellent. The cranberry cooler cocktail was surprisingly good. The waitress recommended the tacos and they did not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit, a welcome addition to west Anderson.

Presentation was terrible, this was $4 of chicken added to a salad and they don’t do anything for birthdays as far as ice cream or anything goes. This is exactly how it was served, no bites taken from it. If you want to pay for this go ahead but we did no have a good experience. Our server was friendly, that was the plus side.

It pleases me greatly to see a boatable restaurant finally open up in this part of the lake. Given our location many of the places on the water around Lake Hartwell are not accessible for us. We visited The Local Pub and Eatery on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and dockside service. They offer delivery to the dock through the ChowNow app and it truly is one of the great pleasures in life to do so. The dock can fit roughly 4 or 5 boats but can get crowded on the weekend. Just look for their white flag to keep from pulling into the nearby private docks. Geographically they are relatively near where the Tugaloo and Seneca rivers meet on the South Carolina side. Their fare is as advertised, pub food and meant to satisfy your cravings from building an appetite doing lake things. However, the overall experience was such a treat with the server being exceptionally friendly and other items being delicious. I hope they can continue to be successful because it is such a fun adventure to come in from the water and dine.

Everything was delicious.!! I got fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer both were very generous portions and then I got a burger for dinner it was absolutely delicious… I will definitely be back and since they’re literally around the corner from my house is very convenient

We came here on the referral of a friend! (10 min from home earns it bonus points!) Annabelle was our server, and she was AMAZING!! The bacon wrapped shrimp (appetizer) is outstanding! The wedge salad is huge, and the homemade bleu cheese is “awesome”! We had fish & chips, with slaw. Also got pizzas to go! Can’t wait to come by boat this Summer! This place ROCKS! Definitely will be our new “go-to”!!
