Visiting friends cabin, shared a Chef’s salad for lunch, – which was quite good. Met the friendly owner. She arranged a spot for us, for their Sat dinner – of course we had the prime rib… we all ate every bite, ha. Delicious! Friendly, cute little supper club. Looking forward to another stop!

I figured everyone would turn and look when we walked in, but no! They were totally nice! They have Bison and Elk burgers (and beef or turkey, obvs), so give one a try! Prices are good. Certainly an older place, and they have really cool bar antiques to show for it. I hear the owner trained with some fancy wildlife chef in Minneapolis? Normally I am too cool for anything not hand-pattied, but somehow the regular hamburger was really good anyway. Overall, way better than I expected. Try them out!

Wait person/ bartender was nice. Stated we had not been here for a long time. Took our order and it literally took us over 30 minutes to get 2 burgers and fries and there was only 2 other people in the bar. After we ordered 1 couple and 1 family of 3 came in and they received their food before us. Waitress knew we were a tad irritated but we figured If food was good we would be fine.. Nope, burgers overdone, tater tots overdone. Fries were the best thing we had.
