About the only local non-chain joint for dinner in Laurel that we could find, BUT IT WAS GREAT!Great steak on the steak salad. Staff was super-friendly. awesome IPA on draft. Sat at the bar and meet some nice locals. Recommend going!

Stopped in town at 5:00 and saw a line out the door at this place. Decided to follow the crowd, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the fried green tomatoes and the Bang Shrimp Po Boys. The food was to die for!

Closed out my visit to Laurel with dinner at The Loft. Without a doubt the best filet I’ve ever had and the potato casserole was amazing. Madison made the most delicious “Sunflower” cocktail and was just delightful and so warm and friendly. Such a great experience!

after gorging ourselves on great food all day, we decided to go with something a little lighter. wife had the steak salad, and I went with the chicken salad with a local IPA.

Steaks are so hit and miss at restaurants nowadays. My wife and I both had the 14oz Ribeye and were not disappointed. I like mine medium and she likes hers well done. Both were very tender and perfectly cooked. The sides were delicious and bread pudding was tops. Even our server was so sweet to us. I’m going back to Laurel in the future just to eat here again. Not kidding one bit!!!

Service was great. Food was good. Price was very reasonable. We had a shrimp po’ boy (so packed with shrimp they were falling out of the sandwich) and a grilled chicken sandwich (huge, and packed with all kinds of extras). Definitely would go back – the menu contained many American food choices I’d like to try.

Can’t review the restaurant or food. Showed up at 6:45 for a party of 3. Told it was a 45 minute wait. No problem. Waited 55 minutes and went to check. Now told they have no idea when they can seat us. “Maybe another 35-50 minutes” is what the hostess tells us. How are you this terrible at calculating wait times? No excuse.

The pork chop was perfect, juicy and full of flavor. Chicken parmigiana was good. I would suggest to pass on the raspberry vinaigrette unless you like jelly flavor on your salad, to say it was sweet was an understatement. Fried mushrooms were good. It’s a bit loud inside.

We were really looking to eat here while visiting Laurel, food does look amazing but sadly we had a bad experience. Inside was full so we were offered to site outside although is is almost 100 degree, we’re told it’s covered and ventilated. It would have been fine if someone would have at least brought us a glass of water or offered something to drink. Although several waiters were coming in and out, no one came to see us for over half an hour, we just gave up and left the restaurant in disbelief.
