This oyster place is comparable to Neptune oyster. Very fresh. Love their special flavor ice. Watermelon ice goes very well with all the oyster (a must try). Crab Rangoon flatbread was very good. Scallops are cooked perfectly. The only thing I didn’t enjoy much was truffle crab fries. Would be better if they serve tater tot instead of fries (just a thought). Painkiller drink was superb.

Loved the ambience, service and good at the Loft. The drinks we had were great, especially the “Painkiller”. We tried the oysters and they were incredibly fresh and flavourful. The crab flatbread was amazing and so was the BLT (with pork belly and seared scallops). The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. Definitely a must visit in Bar Harbor/Acadia!

Food was great! Loved everything we ordered. Seacuterie, surf and turf BLT, 5 types of oysters, and smoked bacon. The expresso martini used coffee from the local Graffiti Cafe. It had the right amount of sweetness and was pretty strong. Loved it!

If you are looking for a raw oyster bar…THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Fresh, high quality local oysters with the outside of the shells scrubbed clean – you will never have to worry about sand and mud ruining the experience. There is a choice of 4 mignonettes. I feel – The watermelon ice & blueberry jalapeño mignonette were great accompaniments to the oysters. My partner and I shared the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake : without a doubt – the clam chowder is rich, thick with plenty of flavor – moving on to the well sized lobster, mussels, clams and a corn cob. The corn was an herb basil butter that made the corn even tastier. Our drinks were simple: a local Maine brew and Chenin Blanc wine, but definitely good compliments to our meal.

This place has the tastiest shareables. If you’re a fan of seafood, this is the place. My husband and I can not stop thinking about the sea-cuterie board we had. Which was such a fun take on charcuterie and it was really filling. And the ahi poke wonton nachos were BEAUTIFUL and so so good.

Really enjoyed the place. Bartender and other staff are polite, knowledgeable about the food and as engaging as you want to be. I went here two times during this visit to Bar Harbor. First was for drinks and oysters. There were 5 types and they were all very good. Second time was to have the seafood tower – full lobster, shrimp, tuna poke, some haddock and another 20 oysters. Some of these were different varieties from two days before which goes to show the volume that they go through. Enjoyed both occasions.

It was a nice surprise find! We got the tower that came with oysters, clam, crab, lobster, tuna, and shrimps and the tuna poke. They all tasted good and it’s not cheap but the price matches with other local restaurants. Luckily. it was happy hour when we went so we got the beer for half the price. The interior is so cute and the server was so nice. Overall very good experience, unique food, and would definitely recommend!
