The loft is upstairs on the second floor. It has indoor and outdoor seating, but it is on the smaller side. So prepare for it to fill up fast during peak season. But it is cozy and comfy. The bartender was also the waitress since it was short staffed. She did an amazing job. She crafted me a drink with my alcohol of choice. It was scrumptious. The food was great. I had the loft burger with a Cesar salad. The dressing was a little heavy for my tastes, but my boyfriend loved it. The burger was tasty and seasoned properly. The boyfriend had the fish and chips special. He still talks about how perfectly the fish was cooked and the tater sauce…..let me tell you about the tater sauce……I do not like cooked fish. I occasionally try it to see if my taste buds will change. This tarter sauce changed my mind. The fish, perfectly cooked and breaded paired with the tarter sauce, was amazing. The fishy flavor was light and breading had great seasoning. The tarter sauce was salty and full of dill flavor with a slight hint of sweetness. I even asked the chef if this was his own recipe or if this flavor is kind of what you get at all places near here. This is his own recipe, and he had no problem giving me the list of ingredients. If the fish and chips are on the menu, definitely order it and get an extra side of tarter sauce you will thank me later.

It’s so amazing! Great service, really friendly servers. The food is very good. It’s worth your time to stop in. Go upstairs because the downstairs doors are locked. All the seafood places take a lot of time and they’re crowded. The Loft makes sure you’re comfortable, happy and the chef is quick!

Wonderful experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The staff is kind and friendly. My son and daughter had salmon chowder in bread bowl that looked and smelled amazing. The rest of the family had biscuits and gravy. The bacon bloody Mary was the cherry to my Sunde’!

Great place with good service and reasonably priced food. It is located on the 2nd floor, so there is no wheelchair access. Parking was not a problem when we visited, there were several available spots on the street. If a restaurant has a clean bathroom the chances are better that the kitchen where they prepare your order is properly clean as well. I ordered Ham & Eggs. The eggs were cooked medium, just right. When they try to rush eggs on too hot of cook top, they are sometimes browned with a crisp edge . . .Yuck. The Loft got it all right. I will go back, and suggest that you give it a try.

We ate here twice on our trip. If they happen to have the crab chowder on the menu, we highly recommend it, and definitely get it in a bread bowl! Their bacon bloody Mary was tasty. The clam chowder was so good, as well. And the crispy French toast with strawberry compte was divine. Our compliments to the chef!

We had lunch with the boy. He had bacon cheese burgers with fries, wife had Halibut and fries, and I had Halibut sandwich and fries. Trying to replace was busy but very efficient not too much of a weight great View. I had Bloody Mary, It could have used a little more flavor but still was good lacked a little depth. The staff was remarkable and very efficient I wish it wouldn’t have been a rainy day it would have been nice to sit on the patio. I will plan on coming back again.

We ate here twice while staying in town. First time there was a wait, which is completely understandable. But the thing is, we waited over 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Then the service just wasn’t great. I’m glad we went back because despite the service the first time their food is AMAZING! We tried three of their eggs Benedict, and our favorite was the smoked salmon one! Soooo good, I can eat that everyday. The French toast was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were so good. The fish n chips were tasty. And the bacon bloody Mary is a must! And our server this time was great and awesome & accommodating for our giant patio group! Thank you

Great service. The servers were fun and attentive. The restaurant was cute and the views are awesome. We had the fish and chips. Rock fish for us didn’t seem to be a good choice. The fries were awesome, the coleslaw was odd to me. I prefer the sauce to be mixed in prior to me receiving it. But there it was just sitting on top waiting. The flavor of the coleslaw didn’t really go with the fish. We may go back just to try a different dish.
