While looking a little plain on the outside with a simple sign and small flashing neon open sign, it was well worth going inside. The interior has a nice rustic look with plenty of seating and even a pool table in the corner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; they always checked on us and refilled waters, etc. The pulled pork burger was great, as was the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Caeser Salad. For me it was the ribeye cooked medium rare with mushrooms and onions on top. It was very tender and cooked to perfection. The loaded baked potato was also awesome! I would also highly recommend the strawberry lemonade (you can get it with vodka too!!), it was also perfect.

I went in with a party of 8 to see if their Prime Rib was as good as we heard. We have many other choices in restaurants so we were hoping it was good pick. This was the 3rd chance we gave them because the other two times the servers were friendly, nice, and fairly efficient and food was alright. This time, we were extremely dissatisfied by the in attentive and downright rudeness of our server. I rarely give bad reviews but when a service staff is rude, is just beyond belief to me. Maybe she figured since there was automatic big party gratuity she could treat us less than? Well needless to say, she didn’t get any extra which we almost always tip more than automatic gratuity. Prime rib was alright, lots of fat. But to be treated like that, we won’t be back! Not a pleasant experience.

I honestly can’t say enough about how great this place is! The owners must be doing something right. The food here is some of the best American styled / steakhouse quality fare that we have eaten in the entire Yakima area. We just moved here a few months ago, and we have finally found our GO TO restaurant. We hope that the owners follow through with their plans to add a bar. We will definitely be regulars.

Lone Star was a great place for Prime Rib and Ribeye. Great service and waitress. Owner or manager was attentive and asked how we were doing which is nice to see. Veggies could be cooked just a bit less which would have made the meal even more exceptional, but realize some may like them more done.

Excellent experience, yummy food, great service. We had BBQ items and burgers. The outside could use more signage and bling to be more eye catching, was moderately busy 6:30 on a Friday night. It was nice to have no wait though. We will be back!

Great staff, great food, overall wonderful dining experience. My father and I had breakfast and I must say this is the best breakfast I’ve had in the valley! Next time I come into town I’m going to come Friday night for the prime rib!
