Boutique little coffee & tea shops are always something I am looking for as I am chronically under-caffeinated. Not only were the serving staff charming and wonderful, they were also singing along to the ‘80’s rock soundtrack where the grass is green and the girls are pretty – I love seeing joy like that when people are working. The coffee was exceptional – not over roasted (burnt) as was my green tea. I am excited to carry my day forward with all of the jitters but none of the stomach churn.

I love this place! Great neighborhood hangout spot. It is summer and so I usually get an herbal iced tea unsweetened. Friendly, welcoming staff. Support a local business! There is also a table near the door for community flyers and such.

This is one of Tustin’s hidden gems, and you owe it to yourself to check it out. Tucked away in a small shopping center on 17th and Bryan, The lost bean offers gourmet coffee drinks, pastries, and other snacks. I like it because it feels cozy and welcoming. The decor is warm and eclectic but everything just feels right. The prices can be slightly on the high end, but I don’t mind them from time to time.

The coffee was good but I prefer it a bit stronger. Next time, I will get espresso. “I’m awake.” Every table was taken except the low profile bucket chairs that are hard to get out of. Staff lacks enthusiasm and seems bored, but friendly with fast service. Complaining aside, cookies were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, quiet, and modern. So if you need a place to study and get wired on coffee, this is the place to be.

We wanted to find a local small business and found this. They bake fresh goods daily and roast there own coffee beans. It is located in a small plaza in Tustin.

I really love this friendly neighborhood spot. I’ve been a few times for their interesting iced coffees and breakfast. I’m a quiche for breakfast type of gal.. and they have a variety. Not a big fan of the frittata however… a little on the dry side. Customer service is always great here. It’s been my go to for a quick breakfast and coffee on the weekends! Can’t wait to try more of their menu!

French toast was not French more like Canadian and it was 10 dollars for 3 bites and some rock hard pebbles upsetting my tummy. It’s in a good spot and nice inside with good service but the French Toast was pointless didn’t fill me up at all and I’m not a big guy.

Great coffee. A little hidden gem of a place. Plenty of areas to sit in too. Food is also very good. Quiches, burritos and frittatas. Breakfast sandwiches and eggs. All good.

If you place an order ahead they wont even start your order until much later after you arrive. And if regulars start walking in they stop what they’re doing and service them first before everyone. Never coming back here.
