Great lil local bar/restaurant. We both got burgers and they were amazing. Honestly, what drew me in though was the “no kids, no dogs” sign at the door. It was great to enjoy a meal in peace. Very friendly staff. We had no wait for a table and our food came out quickly. Reasonably priced.

Classic bar in the center of Eastsound. We had one veggie and one regular burger with fries and coleslaw on the side. The burgers were pretty delicious; bun was nicely toasted and the pickles on the side were yummy. The fries were outstanding too. The coleslaw was a bit wet and soggy, but other than that, great food as far as we could tell.

Family went here after getting off the ferry. We were seated quickly. Our server (sub in)was funny and had great hospitality with answering any questions we had,and her son finished off being our server for the night he was just as nice. We ordered and rated out of 10 next to(pictured) classic tavern burger 8, halibut and coleslaw 8(coleslaw a little too dry), patty melt 9, dip burger 9(amazing au jus flavor), patty melt 8.

Typical bar / restaurant serving food and spirits. I had chicken wings which were big and meaty with a large portion of veggies on the side. Wife had fish & chips which was heavy on the chips. All in all not bad. Would go back.

Our family got kicked out for one family member being under 21. They weren’t nice about it either. Woman just said “ohhhh I’m sorry” and walked away. The bar itself is tiny and is like 5 seats out of the several tables scattered along the perimeter nowhere near the bar. If you wanna have a 21+ establishment maybe make it actually look like a bar, not so family friendly, and also have more signage than one fold-up sign stating 21+

You should rate it based on what you expect. I give it five stars based on the fact that this is a pub, so you should expect decent pub food, but not a fine dining experience. I also can’t knock it because I ordered a chicken burger, and not an Irish item, which is what they are known for being an Irish bar. My girlfriend had the corn beef hash and said it was excellent. We had an amazing view of the water and the staff were friendly.

“Best burger in town” is a bold claim but honestly the burgers were at best mediocre. Service was ok. Walked in and was told our family of 3 with our 13 year old daughter couldn’t eat inside because it was a “bar” but the other two places nearby that were pretty identical seemed just fine. I was told because they don’t have a dining room which is odd with 20+ tables inside besides the actual bar itself. I’m not sure it’s listed on their website as it 110% should be. It was just a let down after googling places to eat and this place was highly recommended and after the visit I’m just not sure I get it.
