Best coffee/ coffee drinks in Madison! Been herw multiple times with my dad and kids while visiting family. Has been renovated around October last year, giving more space for patrons. It’s kind of a tight fit inside for wheelchairs but dad could get around. They offer tea, coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, baked goods, food, and local artistry things you could buy on the tables and shelves. Great atmosphere and a great place to go in Madison. Fyi- is closed on Sundays.

Great spot to grab a coffee and relax. Be aware that they no longer serve food, so the menus and photos of food items are obsolete. They haven’t been able to get them removed from their Google listing. Just great specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and light snacks/desserts.

Visit today and ordered the chef salad. I only received lettuce, tomato, turkey and cucumbers. I ordered additional dressing and had to remind the staff I needed it. The menu stated the chef salad also included onions, cheese and ham. In addition to this I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for an iced coffee. Still didn’t get my extra dressing but after waiting 30 minutes for my coffee I just wanted to get out. The waitress took every single persons order (11 people) who came in after me BEFORE getting my coffee. My salad alone was $10 and it didn’t even include all the items stated on the menu. Im not sure that I will return after this visit.

Went to mad bean today and it was packed ordered two drinks and a sandwich. I sat down in the corner and noticed that today there were only two ladies working the entire place. One young lady ( First day I might add) was making the drinks and a second young lady was making the food. These two ladies had the entire place running smoothly and we’re so kind. I’ve been to mad bean before and always had a great experience but seeing these two ladies do the work of a full staff and making my drinks and food to perfection makes me appreciate the place even more. So to the review the food was fantastic and the drink was as well. I recommend them.
