Breakfast was delicious. My husband plans to eat chicken and waffles more often now. The waitress was very attentive and personable. We will definitely return to this establishment. Don’t forget to try the collard green egg rolls (seasoned with smoked turkey) !

S&C 1st SAFE & COMPLIANT 1ST!
I have been in food industry since I was 13 I understand everyone had different taste, this is just my husband and my opinion. Service was sincere but not experienced. Waitress and owner/manager walked by table several time without offering coffee or removing trash off table. Husband had chicken and waffles. Chicken was piping hot, positive, but lacked seasoning. Jucy inside and golden brown. was tough, batter significantly over mixed. I had biscuit and gravy. Biscuit was cut in half appeared to be drenched with liquid butter and grilled, not appetizing at all. Gravy appeared to be package. Consistency was gummy like gelatin verses smooth and creamy. The eggs were cooked too high, you see the brown edges tell you it was too hot. I would not return based off the items I ordered, my husband said he would try them again.

Best breakfast EVER!!! The grits were perfect. Toast made on a grill, yes please! Strong hot coffee. Excellent price. Extra friendly staff and wonderful background music. This is the gem of Gulfport!

The food wasn’t good. We sent the pancakes and waffles back. The young lady who served us was nice but our food we couldn’t eat. The chicken was floured not seasoned. The mimosa was good and the ambiance is nice but we won’t be back when we visit Gulfport again. One time was more than enough.

We came because we heard great things about their lamb chops, they were the best we’ve ever had! If you live in the area or planning to visit make sure you stop by and try their lamb chops!! Everything else was great too, we’re blown away by those lamb chops

One of the few diners in the area. Today, they were “giving back” , to the community. Santa was giving out gifts to all children who came.

Went in pretty excited. Left disappointed. Tried to order the collar green egg rolls but they weren’t going to be ready for another hour. No biggie. My wife and I split the seafood grilled cheese as an appetizer instead(which came out at the same time as our entrees). I had the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs, she had the shrimp and grits. Can’t really name any one thing as a bright spot. NOTHING was seasoned well, the waffle was definitely undercooked. As far as service goes I couldn’t tell you our servers name… but they were nice, just not much interaction. And we were literally the only people in there. Waited a good while for the food and once we started eating our server came out with some food of her own and grabbed a table across from us and started eating lol. The music selection was five stars but everything else was definitely subpar. Left with a sad tummy:(

First visit to Magnolia Diner and my experience was pleasant. Not too many breakfast places in Gulfport. Parking was difficult due to the lack of parallel parking spots in the downtown area, but don’t shy away from trying this diner. Staff were polite and courteous. Food was good. I’ll be back to try their lunch menu in the coming weeks.

This was my second visit here. My family and I were the only ones at that time. The hostess/server was cleaning so she did not come over to the table immediately but she did greet us. She came over gave us menus, silverware and took our drink orders. My daughter and I switched the seet tea for soda .

Welp guys! I tried a new place called “The Magnolia Diner” in Gulfport, MS. Walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. The place was clean and soft music was playing..Ithink its a black owned establishment. .Another female came from the back to take our order and proceeded to take our drinks. I order a sweet tea and he got a coffee..Coffee came out piping hot which he enjoyed and my tea was super sweet and not even full in the cup. I then asked about the omelets..I wanted to know if they could make them with egg whites and the waitress stated “we don’t have that”. Now don’t get me wrong everyone doesn’t serve egg whites but yall have them. If you have eggs you have egg whites..I then ordered a side of bacon to my surprise it comes with 2 pieces, so I then had to order 2 sides of bacon..He got eggs with pork sausage. The bacon was very gummy as if it was placed in the microwave. They have other items on the menu. The food looks like it could be ok. I won’t knock em but they need more options on the menu. Do I see myself returning, nope! I just wish them the best.
