This experience could have been amazing under different circumstances. The waitress was so flustered and came off aggressive. She wanted our drink order and I was hoping to look at the menu first (for cocktails) and I didn’t see any so I assumed they didn’t have them since we are from 2 hours away we wouldn’t know what they had. ‍♀️ I hurried on her behalf and got an OJ. Then I see everyone get these BEAUTIFUL Bloody Marys and Mimosas and I’m sitting there sad the whole time because I really wanted one but she was so overworked and grumpy.. I didn’t want to make her mad.

Tne main landing is simply the best place on Chautauqua Lake. The food is fresh and freshly prepared. The simplicity of the dishes belies the excellence of the preparation. Donna in the kitchen and Mindy at the front of house make the Main Landing a real go to for water front dining. They really go above and beyond in everyway imaginable and they are open all year!

We ordered three different specials and soup of the day. All were excellent. The blueberry cobbler was so good we could have ordered more. The specials were a little pricey but we agreed worth it. We will return when we can arrive by boat.

We had a last minute change of plans for dinner and I’m so glad we did. If you are looking for a real local experience, this is it. The staff are fantastic. The food was delicious. And the peanut butter pie is out of this world. I definitely recommend.

Great place. The main fish dish was only $12 and was a lot of food. Apps were good and they had a local beer on tap. The staff and owner were friendly, highly recommend this place.
