We went for breakfast, having stopped by when we left Hospice that morning. I had heard great things about this place, and had even taken pictures of the bar and restaurant to recommend that we meet there later that week, but the day that I went… Maybe it was a bad day, but I was not impressed. It was supposed to be home-cooking, but the food was bland and unappealing. The barbecue was an extremely sweet. The beef and macaroni had no flavor. The cornbread was greasy… I found a couple of pictures I had not deleted and I will attach them to this. Again, I have heard great things about this place, but it did not live up to the reputation it had the date morning we stopped there.

One of my go to places to go eat. Great southern food. The fried shrimp is a must have. I miss their old home ade biscuits and sometimes they forget the fatback but overall great food, reasonably priced. If they ever have the red velvet cake upfront I recommend a slice!

We have eating here plenty of times, from when they first open to now the good quality has drastically changed. There’s no seasoning in the food, not even salt or pepper. The cashier with glasses and a piercing under her top lip was extremely rude. When one of my coworkers complained about the cabbage, the cashier got real snappy and rude. My co worker was not offered to substitute the side. So when we checked out if they couldn’t change the price for the side that she didn’t like, they could have not charged her for the tea. This could have off set the price. But no they needed the money, so! There’s no stead traffic there anymore. When we went on 1/31/2022 around 12pm, there was only one other customer in the entire restaurant at lunch time. And when we left around 1pm, it was maybe 6-8 people in there. The parking lot is filled with cars that the employees drive. So that should let you know! The score card was hide behind the register with bags in front of it so it wasn’t seen. It was an 88.5 score. The waitress is always nice and accommodating. But that little cashier is just plain nasty and rude! Oh and this is suppose to be a Godly atmosphere, ran by Christian people.
