Good food. Service out front is kind slow. And you got to refill your drink. I tip ahead. And if I tip I think they should have to refill my drink. I mean why else tip? To bring my food to the table?. So I will probably stop tipping. That won’t stop me from returning.

The Malt was such a great haven from the rain on our camping trip. Once we realized our food wasn’t going to cook in a soggy firepit, we decided to head over to the Malt for burgers. As we waited out the storm we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and fun games at our table.

Ate here for lunch two days in a row. Great atmosphere, and dog friendly deck and grass area. Had chicken sandwiches both days, the Southern and Orange. Both incredibly flavorful, and the truffle fries were spot on. Good beer selections, and friendly staff. Not a fancy place for a date night, but if you want good food, definitely the right choice.

The switch to gang seating n benches is horrible. Turn us off from table seating. What are they thinking? More people per square foot of floor space. Come on! When bubbas was there it was cozy and great. What a down grade. Do I want to eat with 6 other strangers?

We were in Saratoga for a quick stint and popped into The Malt for a bite to eat and experienced so much more. We were welcomed by Danny, founder, and bartender, who was extremely hospitable. The bar had a wide range of whiskeys, including a vast local selection and the food was unlike anything else we experienced in town. Thanks for having us. We’ll be back!
