Very good dining experience. Polite staff and amazing decor. Food came out at a decent speed and was delicious. The price of food is a bit higher than most places, so expect to spend a little more than usual, however the price does match the quality (atmosphere, presentation of dish, quality of food). They do not have a strict dress code, so I was able to relax in some easygoing (but modest) “street” clothes. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

The host was warm and friendly, and the wait staff was discreet but attentive. It was the perfect dining experience. The food was prepared perfectly and their specials were enticing rarities. My lamb was the perfect medium rare and my wife’s salmon was expertly cooked; still moist and not undercooked. The beauty of the 19th-Century home in which the restaurant resides is beautifully refurbished and maintains the charm of the original house . . . even down to the furniture selections. Their desserts were simple but decadent pleasures. The mousse medley was delicious and the cakes were moist and not too sweet. The icing on this culinary cake was the quality of the coffee they served with dessert. I daresay that my wife and I are a little snobbish when it comes to coffee. For every detail there was care obviously taken. My wife and I booked for St. Valentine’s Day on our way out.

Went here for my 60th birthday with friends. Had been 10 years since I had been there, and probably won’t go back. They had a very busy night, service was very slow, one sirloin steak was very tough our friend had a hard time cutting it, much less eating it, & my pork chop was very tough. They were out of several items our group wanted to order. Overall, we were not impressed.

I really want this place to succeed. Went there often under previous ownership. Recently went there with 4 other couples. I can say the service was wonderful. The food was underwhelming to say the least. I won’t get into great detail, but I can say most in our party will not return. I have given new ownership 3 chances and I wish them the best.

The food here is INCREDIBLE. The duck I had was cooked perfectly, with that medium, jucy body and the crispy fat. My daughter’s salmon was flavorful, flaky, and still moist. Made my wife’s admitedly good steak seem dull by comparison! More importantly, the staff were upbeat, energetic, and helped elevate a generally low-key event. Would give them 6 stars if I could!
