We’ve been a couple times now and the food and drinks are top notch! We’ve ordered the carne asada fries and smash burgers both times. The fries are a perfect balance of ingredients and flavor; could easily feed a few people, but makes a hearty entree for one. The burger is perfect just the way they serve it, no changes needed. The second time we ordered the elote hush puppies… O-M-G… melt in your mouth goodness! The drinks are always amazing! The Oaxacan Viejito is definitely my new fave! The service is awesome and the atmosphere is eclectic, featuring artwork from local artists.

Fire spot, the interior design and cleanliness of this restaurant will keep you coming back. Small menu but the dishes are massive and the drink menu is really where it’s at. Drinks are beautiful, strong and not terrible for your pocket. Thanks for serving and having us!

Nice small business in Waukegan… loved their Carne asada fries and corn fritters! Fries are pretty tasty, too. We had a large party,so the food took a little while. Otherwise, it’s a great experience. I would go back.
