Really good bar food. The Calamari was delicious. Nachos were big and good to share. But the sliders were my favorite. I’d go back just to have those with a beer…yum!! The atmosphere was totally like a dive bar. Had great music playing and it just seemed like a chill place to hang.

My friends and I regularly go to this bar. Tonight, one of my friends (who goes here 2-3 nights a week) was in an argument with a group of girls who just turned 21 while he was waiting in line for the bathroom and they tried to cut him in line. The girls went up to a bouncer and said something accusatory. The bouncer (Tio) came over and started yelling at our group and did not even bother to hear anyone else’s side of the story. Tio kicked our friend out and threatened to ban him from every bar downtown and said he could tell his employer. Tio has serious anger issues, and his pervasive cigarette dependency doesn’t seem to help. I have personally seen him try to fight people both on the clock and off the clock over nothing. This sort of behavior has ruined this bar in the eyes of a group of good regular customers and should be dealt with.

Enjoyed our dinner at this place. The nachos were strong and the tacos were delicious. The service was very attentive and the owner or manager visited with us a few different times to ensure we we’re satisfied.

Nice open space with large outdoor patio out back. Prices are very good for SLO, especially considering how tasty the food is. The tacos are the real deal, and the fried goodies were also tasty, if a bit overfried. Service was just the right amount of friendly-casual. This place is an extra good choice when the weather’s nice.

Amazing prices and great selection of food and drink. Get a shot and draft beer for $7 and selection of great tacos and mexican-inspired plates. The crunchy pescado taco was delicious and the pastor meat was very good as well. Seemed like only one person was working the bar and tables on a Saturday afternoon, but she gave great service throughout our time there refilling waters and offering to get anything else before bringing the check.

The Mark is family owned and the service and food is outstanding. The Tapas are awesome. Go there anytime your in San Luis Obispo. If you like local beers or some domestics they have it.

Amazing food that is reasonably priced. Try the tri-tip sliders. They are to die for!!!! Friendly staff and fun to people watch during farmer’s market. Lots of screens and good music playing.
