I was looking for an Indian food place nearby and The Masala Order popped up. It’s in an industrial park and I couldn’t picture it, but it’s there! We got lucky that it was open when we wanted to eat. The owner/cook Steve is the nicest guy ever and boy can he make delicious chicken tikka. Good portion so I had lunch for the next day, too. What’s even better is I can ride my bike there so if my car is busted or out of gas, I can still go. The sign outside says “The Lake Zurich Community Kitchen” so be aware of that. The mint chutney was watery, but maybe that’s a regional thing. It was still very good. Will have to try other stuff. I highly recommend this place.

Great taste, huge portions, value priced. Wife loved her Chicken Tikka bowl. I had the Butter Chicken – huge chunks of chicken and comes with a big side of rice. Two big pieces of naan is only $1. I can’t wait until tomorrow to eat my leftovers for lunch! This startup is located in the Lake Zurich Community Kitchen, which is a super cool concept, but with this great food he’ll have his own place soon enough! We’ll definitely be going back soon. Support this local talent – and he’s a nice guy, too!

I was searching for something for dinner and wanted something different. I was surprised to find Indian food in Lake Zurich I was excited to try something new and local. The first time I ordered I got buttered chicken and the chicken tikka pizza both were delicious. I ordered the pizza a few more times sharing it with coworkers all of them loved it to. Tried the chicken tikka panini and the masala panini tonight both were great as well. I look forward to trying more items. It is carry out only.

Amazing food, communication and service! We had a Christmas party with 12 hungry guests and everyone of them raved about the food. Delivery to our home was right on time. I stood back and watched as the hot food was quickly set up in the kitchen and surrounded by amazing sauces and dips with a nice description of each for our guests. Our order consisted of Mediterranean Chicken, Chinese BBQ Kabobs and Chicken Tikka Kabobs. We piled the meat on fresh warm pitas that were provided along with shredded lettuce and also dined on a very hearty salad with wonderful dressing choices. Although many went back for seconds, we lucked out and have some leftovers. The food was perfect and I was able to customize the spices. The communication prior to party was top notch. Questions quickly answered, the quote was timely so we could make a decision, and the payment process smooth. The delivery and set up was flawless and efficient. My guests all asked for the web site and a few asked if I had selected a date for next years party. It’s so nice when everything goes as planned.
