Every time I visit Murphy, NC, making a stop at The Mason Bar is an absolute must for me. Their cocktail selection never ceases to impress and the Big Mac salad? Absolute perfection! What adds to the whole experience is the consistently friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Always a treat, always delightful. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Great little place. Nice music, has an ice cream shop by the bar so you can either have a cocktail or ice cream. Nice people. They have a band at night and you can sit inside or out, oh yeah, they have a little place just for pets too.

Very cute place that has just opened and is working on their menu and wine selection. Full bar as well. Live music 4 nights a week! Definitely excited to see this addition to the Murphy downtown. We ordered a Charcuterie board which came in a mason jar and was the cutest. Support this local business, they are doing a good job and I’m sure it will just keep getting better!

Food was good but not worth the price or dealing with the staff. My husband went inside to order for us since we were dining outside. The staff would not provide a menu since they had already cleaned them for the night, 2 hours before closing. He ordered the same thing I did since he didn’t know what they had. The salad was good but small for the price. I doubt it even had 2 ounces of chicken.

This place is the cutest, coziest, YUMMIEST restaurant on the block! It’s kept in pristine shape and feels so clean… the food (I got the lasagna) was FABULOUS! And I got a few cocktails & the bartender did such an amazing job. 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone. AND ITS AN ICE CREAM SHOP! Only bar to go to in Murphy!

Enjoyed the music and Mason, the guitar player was great. Service was excellent. They made you feel like family. You have to visit the ice cream shop right outside of this place. Run by Rae and homemade ice cream with lots of flavors.

Great atmosphere! Fun hangout! Great food! Yummy drinks! Great live music! Great family owned business! Must try the slider trio, Buffalo chicken dip, jarcuterie, cheesecake shooter, and all their specialty drinks! Don’t forget the beer either! Can’t wait to see what else is to come! You can also enjoy homemade ice cream next door owned by the same amazing family!
