I had the lobster roll which was great I loved it and will be getting it again, as this place is very close to where I live and the people who work there were so nice. My husband got the cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks which he liked very much he said he’s been wanting a diner type of burger and he said he got it here at the shack so he was very happy. Has Cool beach vibe, while you wait or dine in and it’s right infront of the dock right by the water.

Excellent service and a great place. Definitely going to need more room and a system in place for this summers rush and the upcoming years. Would like to see some good music, grab-n-go convenience items, and maybe vending machines. If this marina can get a pull-up dock for people to park their boats, this place will be very amazing. The food is fresh and spectacular from the variety of items we ordered. Thank you for the great food and service today.

Best damn burger and calamari I’ve ever tried. Great atmosphere, everyone is super friendly! I can tell it’s gonna pop off when Summer hits. Love that it’s a walkable distance as well. Absolutely look forward to ordering from them again. 🙂

I’m not sure what the two karens problems were in the other reviews, but the snack bar is perfect. The menu has something for everyone. We stopped for a quick snack of mozz sticks and a chicken Caesar salad. The mozz sticks had the best flavor out of everyone around. The caesar had freshly made chicken, not drowning in dressing, the lettuce wasn’t old, and homemade croutons. Exactly what everyone should be looking for. Salt of the Earth people running a great little place. We will be back!

If you enjoy subpar food, then this is the place for you. Both my partner and I went last night. We walk in and go to the counter and placed an order for Calamari and Maryland crab cakes for appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the Glazed Salmon platter and Lobster Roll with two bottles of soda. We then paid $80 at the window and went and sat. We sat there for a good 15 minutes conversing and one of the employees walked over to our table to let us know they had no Salmon or Lobster available. Being we paid with a card we said that’s fine we will just order something else. Well the options were not alot. So we ordered a burger, fish and chips and a hot dog platter. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE WANTED TO EAT. About 10 minutes after that our appetizers finally come out. The Calamari was so very bland and the “Maryland crab cake” was nothing more then mushy. 10 minutes into eating our apps they bring out our burger, fish and chips and hot dog platter. Like can we try getting through the apps first. Needless to say the French fries were warm and mushy and the fried cod was not cooked thoroughly it was still very doughy. My partner did enjoy his burger- because he was hungry. LOL

Prices were a little ridiculous and drinks weren’t included and were 4$ a soda. Got like less then a hand full of fries with my burger, burger was delicious, I understand being a local small business but I think 48$ for 2 hand burgers and some drinks at a snack bar was a little much

It’s a cute little spot with sand and benches and a nice view of the marina. Food was good, and the service was excellent! It’s definitely worth a stop when visiting the area.

Just came from mastic beach snack bar . I recently moved into the area and by the reviews I had to try this place out and I got the grill chicken and teriyaki wings and my wife got a burger everything was delicious and so much food and the service was excellent we definitely will be coming back again .. thank you
