Tonight was our first time dining at The Meeting House and from start to finish everything was perfect. We did a couple of cocktails from the bar and soft drinks for our group of 4. We had calamari, risotto balls and meatballs for apps (all 3 were great)….For entrees, we had a salad, the sea bass (which my friend said was the best she has even had and she always orders fish out), the filet steak special along with an order of sliders and everything was delicious!!! Service was great and prices are reasonable too. The owner is present and inviting to his guest….we love supporting local and will definitely be back. #supportlocalbusinesses

Food is good, service is alright. But every Friday they have a guy in there playing piano that’s is way too loud. I could hardly have a conversation with my date over his playing. Piano music would’ve been a really nice touch if it was at a reasonable volume but it was so loud it was like trying to have a conversation in a club or something.

The service and food were excellent, my wife and I had a great anniversary dinner. I enjoyed the live music, and the restaurant is a beautiful space. My only negative was that the noise level was overwhelming to me. If you want a lively place with quick service and quality food I would definitely recommend The Meeting House.

My party and I were greeted when we walked in and were told noone could take care of us for 10 mins. There were many empty tables. We asked if we could sit by the bar and we were told sure but it would still take 10 mins. Multiple times waitress’s walked by us and it was like we were invisible. They finally wiped our table and took our drink order. We saw 2 waitress’s wiping down one table. 20 mins after our drink order we left. We never received our drinks and never saw our waitress again. Very loud atmosphere. We ended up going across the street and had a great experience. Never will I step foot in there again.

New and trendy of course, yet I don’t think this place will last long once the hype dies down. Potentially an okay place to have a couple of drinks But certainly not ideal for a nice sit down dinner. Small and cramped inside. VERY LOUD. Had a reservation for 730. Was seated by 705pm (well done on this) yet we were seated at a high top at the bar—reservation was expected to be at an actual table. There was no bread offered while waiting at the table which I felt was unusual for a restaurant serving entrees to this level. Since seating is very close (within half an arms reach of the next table) we were overpowered by the smell of the next tables perfume to the point of tasting it and having a headache. Requested to move tables when seeing one table leaving. Was told that there was an hour and a half wait and couldn’t be moved (knowing we had already ordered our meals). Took the food to go…four minute drive home and opened immediately. Fish and Chips-fish was EXTREMELY greasy. The breading had just absorbed all of the breeze it was fried in and was a bit burnt even, fries were over salted. Filet and crab gratin potato with rosemary sauce – extremely disappointed. Pretty sure I was given polenta (which was on the menu for the New York strip) and not the gratin potato. Steak was supposed to be medium and was medium rare to rare and cold when eating as well as it tasted of nothing but Charr. Also very surprised that a meal at $32 didn’t come with a small salad or any type of vegetable.

First timers here. Service was great. Drinks were great. Atmosphere is decent. I felt really discouraged by the overall rating and reviews but we gave it a try. Safe to say it’s not a top choice for us. We ate portions of our food but were pretty disappointed. Very little flavor in all our dishes. Salt would have made a huge difference alone! Our apps looked gorgeous but didn’t execute in our tastebuds. The kitchen could definitely use an adjustment with either renewing your head/sous chef or maybe FOH/owners are not involved in the kitchen or allow kitchen staff to have passion in cooking/specials.
