In my recent visit to the Mexican restaurant, I had mixed feelings about the experience. The restaurant’s lively ambiance and colorful decor created a welcoming atmosphere, which was enjoyable. However, I was disappointed to find that they charged for chips and salsa, unlike other Mexican places where it’s usually complimentary.

Really wanted to like this place. Seems like it has a lot of great reviews, but our experience was mediocre. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but the food we had was overpriced and bland. We tried the Chile Relleno and the grilled cheesy birria sandwich. The “cheesy” sandwich had no cheese that we could tell. The Chile Relleno’s beans and rice were bland, tasted like canned and/or pre-packaged product. It was not worth taking a picture of. The drinks that we had were great, but once again very pricey and did not have much alcohol in them. If you go, notice the big capital warning of “WE DO NOT HAVE FREE CHIPS OR SALSA” on the menu. This probably should be a good indication of the stinginess of this place. On the plus side, the service we had was great and the outdoor atmosphere is very nice. Perhaps we just had a bad food experience, as others seem to really like it but we will most likely not be coming back.

Stopped in for a Torta! Boy was it a good decision!!! This place is a place is a must stop in Central!!! If you can get over paying for chips and salsa this place is amazing. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and great food choices!

My standard at Mexican restaurants is the nachos-I think they’re a good measure of a lot of the staples. And y’all, they put they cheese on the bottom layer of the nachos as well as the top so that every chip had cheese on it….and so I gotta give ‘em 5 stars.

I’ve always been so impressed with the exterior spaces of this restaurant… the huge outdoor area is incredible! Looks perfect for a large group. However, when I finally went for the first time, we sat inside due to the winter cold. The building is cramp and smells very musty.

Easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of a homemade meal. The flavors are authentic, and the meat is juicy and spiced to perfection. I had the quesabirrias tacos, and they were so good they literally could not stay on my plate.

This is a great little place. Food was excellent and so was service. The burritos are big enough to share. They do not have fountain drinks, only cans, so no refills. There is a bathroom on site and a cute outdoor patio area if you like to sit outside. It is not shaded outside but there is a firepit that would be nice after dark. The chips are very hard and crunchy. Salsa was pretty good.
