The Misky Chicken opened to the public in 2017 with the help of three friends and their families. The word Misky means tasty in the ancestral Quechuan language, which dates to the time of the Incas that reigned over South America. The goal of The Misky Chicken is simple, to bring authentic Peruvian dishes, made the same way it would have been made in Peru — to the People and for the people!

I loved it! We don’t come to this shopping center much because I didn’t think there was much in it, but today, my husband wanted yucca, so I suggested here. I’m soooo glad we did. The man who helped us was very nice and the food is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend trying it. We got the whole chicken meal, 2 extra sides, and extra white sauces. The sides we got were yucca, salad, rice, and beans. The chicken is probably the best in the area, it is so flavorful, even under the skin part. I’m just so glad we FINALLY found this place. It’s a hidden gem for us. We will be back for sure!!

THE BEST CHICKEN! You won’t find better flavor around the Ashburn/Chantilly/Sterling areas. So happy I found this place! The serving sizes are big, prices are very reasonable. Owner is full of gratitude, treats customers with appreciation & respect anytime I order. Food is made fresh, short wait times. This is always my go-to when I’m craving delicious flavor!

I’ll give them zero stars if possible. The Peruvian chicken had no flavor. Would have been better off getting $5 rotisserie chicken from Costco. The sauce is also watered down. Will not go back to this place.

The food was tasty, but even better was the friendly staff. The gentleman who I believe was the owner was smiling and there to help our family have a great experience the whole time we were dining at The Misky Chicken. We felt like we were friends by the end and couldn’t help but leave smiling.

Register was so friendly and all smiles, really brightens up the place. Chicken was good, not dry and moist . Salted pretty well and the rice was also delicious. No complaints to be had.

Well close by to home for a run to Peruvian food! Their family special is worth, it serves 6-8 people and generous! Rice, beans, yucca, chicken and service excellento! Plantains need a little bit care and flavor, may take half star from my review but its ok. Will try other dishes and update soon. Have to really try their special chaufa fried rice soon.

Got two misky chicken sandwiches, which were average. Soggy rolls, dry chicken, underwhelming flavors, sauces were inadequate in quantity and flavor, the order took way too long to prepare. The flan was also just ok. Overall, bland flavors, poor service, not recommended unless in a bind. On the plus side, I liked the Peruvian decor and I have empathy for the Peruvian folks trying to make this restaurant work.
