A classic neighborhood dive. The food menu is small but I’ve never had something i didn’t like and they have good specials. You can’t beat $6 for a good burger and their reasonable drink prices. The food at The Monkey Barrel is so damn good! They offer the best priced and the best tasting burger in Denver along with a solid variety of food on their menu. The collection of signed memorabilia is insane and will take you back to your childhood. The service is always great even when it’s busy. The patio is a great place to bring your dog and chill with friends while enjoying local Colorado beers. They also have a great selection of pinball machines along with a huge Beastie Boy wallpaper that I love.

I brought a group of 30 and there was a party of twenty. Raquel had our tables reserved and both parties had enough space. We ordered at the bar and our food came out fresh and fast, delivered to our table. The video games and pinball machines were nice.

A massive patio that is dog friendly, an very well chosen list of draft beers, booths with N64, lots of TVs to watch your favorite game, super fun ambiance and very friendly staff. Love that it both a chill spot as well as lively in the evenings and host numerous events. Definitely a hidden gem in Denver!!

Solid 5 stars for Monkey Barrel. What a cool spot. Don’t come here expecting much. By the looks of it The Monkey Barrel is divey. The Burgers and Nashville Hot chicken sandwich are really delicious. The beer selection looked decent and the cocktail are great. Service was on point for a super busy Friday night. Bonus on the Pinball machines. Highly recommend if your in the neighborhood or if you want to catch some live music. The staff was super friendly and professionals at what they do.

As soon as we walked in service was terrible. It was the early afternoon not a lot of people yet all 3 servers ignored us. Have been here before and the service was never this bad. The two blonde girls ignored us and the only one who would talk to us and ended up taking our order was the dark haired girl. Drink was okay but just based off the lack of service wouldn’t come back.

Great atmosphere! The memorabilia all over the walls is great. There are also MANY games including Nintendo 64 and Playstation at some of the tables for free, and about 12 pinball machines. The outside patio is also nice and spacious, perfect for bringing a four legged friend.

Cool vibes, huge dog friendly patio, live music. All this is great. The bummer is that they charge $4 more for a veggie wrap than a cheeseburger. And the only difference is that they replace the burger patty with cucumbers + a dollop of ranch. No other protein in the veggie wrap. Why punish people who are trying to make environmentally conscious decisions? Not good for vegetarians or vegans. The Margherita pizza is also more expensive than the meat pizzas. What? How? The cheeseburger is $6.95 and the impossible burger is $15.95. In what world is a single veggie patty $9 more than a meat patty? Sad 🙁
