Such a fun and unique experience. Staff and service was excellent. Food was so good. I had the salmon, partner had beef. Both were excellent. 2nd helpings of beef were offered as well. Portions were large and very filling. I would definitely recommend!

Worth every penny. Great dinner, extremely friendly service, relaxing acoustic guitar, and what a unique/amazing experience. Disclaimer, you have to enjoy the elements to see the value here. Loved every minute

One of the best dining experiences I have had, we even got to ride on top of the snowcat on the way to the yurt! Delicious food, sledding in-between meals, great atmosphere. I recommend this to all of my Real Estate clients, a must-do while in Big Sky.

Pros: Cool to ride the snowcat up and down the mountain! Service was friendly (one guy almost too friendly–why was he rubbing my husband’s belly??). Was glad they had a table for two for us and didn’t stick us with another party. Food was generously proportioned and like decent home cooking. Our rustic mashed potatoes had one, completely unmashed whole potato in the dish, however. Yurt temp was comfy and warm. Watching kids sled between courses was cute. Jupiter was shining over Lone Mountain. Cons: the musician was truly awful, poor guy. He could neither sing nor play to save his soul. Live music is not a treat when it’s done that poorly. It was a sad distraction all night. When he did take a break, the “smooth jazz” station they had on kept skipping, over and over, and no one noticed until my husband asked that it be changed. Though the prepared food was decent, the bread and the hot cocoa were cheap grocery store items. No chairs were set up around the outdoor propane-fueled fire pit. Bottom line: nothing about the experience was outstanding, other than being on the mountain at night. I’d have preferred a snowcat ride and a bagged sandwich instead. For $281/pp before tip, they should do better be it the food, the atmosphere (plastic and cardboard cups for drinks), the live music. We could have had dinner with wine at Per Se in NYC for that kind of money. If they are raking in the $ on this, I feel taken advantage of. If there are costs to running this thing not visible to me, I feel like: Still: do better. It’s a business, not a charity.

Food was good, however we didn’t get very tenderloin for the cost. There was no fire like in the video advertisement. Wait staff was nice but looked like they were dressed to be at home watching football and not waiting tables were the price of a plate is over 168.00 dollars. Wait staff also asked for gratuity over and over again, it was quite uncomfortable!

Loved this experience! The snow cat ride and sledding were fun and the dinner was excellent. We were seated communally in the yurt with other guests and it was fun to chat it up with them under the candlelight. Also, there was live musical entertainment and he took requests.

This is a MUST do when in Big Sky! Everything was exceptional! I had the best time and would go again and again! It’s such a unique experience but also the food and service were amazing! Riding the snow cats was super fun and the setting is absolutely beautiful. I legit can’t wait to do it again!!!!

Amazing! We booked this little excursion because it was our anniversary. It was well worth the splurge. We choose to ride on the top of the snow-cat, where they had provided cushions and plenty of blankets.
