I enjoyed eating at this cafe for the second time last week. It has a great ambiance and large menu with unique dishes. The “Connie” is a sandwich you can’t find anywhere else and this time i selected the Cuban. Fantastic! My favorite part, though, was the quiche. Try them all!!! And a little sweet bit to finish it off. Just go there.

Cute southern decor. Busy at lunchtime but no where to wait for tables. Two tables outside, only one had an umbrella. I had chicken cranberry quiche. It was a medium sized pie wedge. It seemed to be more chicken than eggs which wasn’t what I expected. It was topped with cheese and appeared to be a bit over cooked. Others in my group had a good portioned salad. The tomato soup was a bit spicy.

Great spot, Especially on Mondays in Kingsport, there’s nowhere else to eat. The mustard seed has fresh food, friendly service, and very fast service as well. Every time I eat here, it feels like I’m sitting at my grandmas and having a sandwich.

Oh my goodness my chicken salad croissant was so good. The brocolli cheese soup was absolutely delicious. My husband got the chili and it was the best either of us has ever had. Did not need crackers at all. My iced tea was so refreshing and wonderful. It appears that they use a small muffin like a garnish on all the plates. Eat the muffin it is amazingly yummy. The decor was so fun. Love this place we will definately be back and will bring friends with us. So so very good

I got the club sandwhich, pasta salad, and a scoop of chicken salad. All three were phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. I’ve always heard of the “mustard seed” but I have never tried it. Being a resident of Kingsport for 38 years I can firmly say you should try this place out. Definitely a great lunch spot. There was plenty of seating and the place was clean. The bathroom was also clean.

This was my third lunch at Mustard Seed. I had the club salad again. It was delicious as much as the first time a few months ago. Great service. I was there around 1:00 and lunch crowd was gone. Can’t wait to go again.
