This is the only time that I’ve been sad to not give a place five stars. The restaurant is greatly designed and the staff are so kind and friendly. They just opened last year.

This place is just an average place to get something to eat. Along with my dining companion, we ordered two Crispy Chicken wraps, an order of fries and a cup of clam chowder.

My fiance and I came in rather close to closing, yet the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We both ordered the meatloaf dinner and amazed at how delicious it was. The servings were so large that we both left with full bellies, leftovers, and a smile.

Tried The Neighborhood Kitchen for the first time this past weekend and everything was excellent! We had the fried chicken wraps, which were much larger than expected, and the chicken in the sandwiches was very tender. Onion strings we asked for on the side were crispy and perfect, and they came with a spicy dipping sauce – a nice surprise! We also ordered the buffalo tender appetizer, and the chicken tenders were huge – more like chicken cutlets, and so good! In hindsight, we honestly didn’t even need to order the appetizer because our chicken wrap meals were so filling. We’ll definitely be back – thank you so much for a delicious meal and great service. What a pleasant little restaurant in Whitinsville! 🙂

Ordered on GrubHub. Restaurant had some issue with the order, so weren’t able to see some details about the food. The restaurant called to let me know about the issue, and offered to discount my next visit. I was very happy with the service. Also, the fries were still piping hot. We’ll definitely be back.

The food was simple but very satisfying. The service was impeccable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I’m a vegetarian and there weren’t a ton of options, so I ordered a grilled cheese and fries from the kids menu. I somewhat jokingly asked the cook if he could “beef it up” a little for me since it was a kid menu item. He CERTAINLY did, with a smile.

What a pleasant surprise. Not a standard pizza/sub shop type place, definitely a step above. I had the mozzarella marinara and a chicken cutlet grinder with fresh cut fries. Everything was great, but I do wish the fries were crispier. The bread they use is great too. Not a “standard sub roll” like most places use. My wife had the Caesar salad. She was a little disappointed because it was all romaine hearts (the crunchy lighter green leaves). She prefers the darker part of the romaine lettuce . Young lady taking the order and serving us was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back to try something else!

I came in last night with my buddy and we each got a sub. I haven’t really tried this place and it’s one of the few non fast food places in town so I was excited to see what they offer. I got the Italian sub—a classic, and I was pretty disappointed. There was barely any lettuce, the tomato was the size of a hockey puck, and even with mayo it was a pretty dry sandwich. In addition it was $11 after tax, I was expecting a sandwich with some more substance but visually it was about 3/4 bread. Along with that, the place was a ghost town— it was later in the night, and it was empty. Regardless, the order took 15+ minutes which is a bit odd. My friend and I have worked in the food industry for a few years now and it was pretty slow in general compared to what we’ve been used to or seen. Finally, my friends fries were incredibly soggy to the point where he couldn’t eat them enjoyably. Most likely they just didn’t shake the oil off them after they were pulled, or they were older fries that were re used. Ultimately, it was very disappointing and I don’t think I will return.

I went here to breakfast with a couple of friends. The food was good and the service was very good. Our server, Paula, did an excellent job and regularly checked on us to see if we were doing ok. The location is convenient and parking is provided next to the restaurant. I have only one recommendation – more tables! There’s a lot of floor space and only about four regular tables (and more “tall tables”). With the storefront windows, I could imagine people passing by when seeing the regular tables are taken or having a larger group for which the seating is very limited .
