What a great restaurant overlooking the Deleware River in eagle country. Sit inside or out on the large deck right on the river. Inside bar or outside tiki bar with plenty of seating and tables. Good, attentive service and nice, large comfort food menu. Serving lunch and dinner, and sometimes Sunday/holiday brunch buffet. We stopped for lunch after eagle watching and had a mushroom Swiss burger, and, the 10 wings (appetizer). The jerk sauce on half, and the honey bourbon on the other half. A side of fries with cheese and bacon bits rounded out the lunch. It was big enough for two and we shared. Dinner menu also. You’ll find something that you’ll like on their menu. Lots of good appetizers, too. The beer list is very good and you can enjoy just a cocktail at the bar. Keep your eyes peeled for a bald eagle flying up the river! Try this local, wonderful restaurant. You’ll always have a delicious, well-made meal, or relaxing visit. I can easily recommend stopping here. It’s right off of Rt 97 at the Roebling Bridge.

Sunday, been on the river all day. Several empty tables. Can the 5 of us switch from the bar to a table.? “No, it’s all reserved”. But tables were empty when we got there, still empty when we finished several drinks and appetizers and dinner and left. I really don’t like being lied to.

I had ordered dinner for delivery at 6pm on a busy Saturday and not only did I not get the typical, “we are busy no take out or delivery orders,” they glad took my order and had my food within one hour at my doorstep. The food was great! All the food was hot and it wasn’t all over the place where typically when you order things like wings the sauce is all over the bag and container. I highly recommend and I’ll be sure to also do dine in soon. The owner is great and personally delivered the food to my house. Great commitment!

We have been here a few times and each time food was great and service was so friendly. Tonight I have to give a special thank you to the owner Chris and the staff. After having a horrible day filled with car trouble, we couldn’t make it to the restaurant to eat. Chris personally delivered our food to our home! I could almost cry. Thank you 1000% over for being so amazing. Your kindness and amazing food made our night!

Firstly, I’m anticipating a sarcastic & unprofessional response from the Owner based on other review responses and inability to take customer feedback well. We checked in to stay overnight as my boyfriend was running a marathon close by the next morning and this inn was recommended… somehow. We were a little thrown off by no lobby or front desk but that check in was just at the bar downstairs, fine. We were shown our dark & musty room upstairs through the stale cigarette smelling carpeted hallway. At first glance, the room was clean but had weird plastic coverings on the dresser & coffee table & I didn’t trust the comforter had been washed. The sound and chatter from the bar below us was extremely loud where we knew we wouldn’t be getting any sleep before running 26 miles and ultimately, that was the deciding factor that we couldn’t stay over. I never even took my coat off before we left with our luggage and thankfully found a place to stay 30 minutes away. No refunds unless cancelled 7 days prior (not standard but makes more sense now). I notice most reviews are focused on the bar/ food and very few on the actual inn. We didn’t even try to get our $200 back after reading how the owner responds to negative reviews… Yikes.
