I don’t think there’s an atmosphere for drinking beer at the bar, and I think it’s just a good place to eat with family.

Love the vibes! Food portions are good size but flavor is bland. We ordered the chicken burger and fish and chips – the chicken was dry and the fish seemed over cooked. The service was great and drinks were good. We’d still return.

We loved our evening here. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. We lived working the crossword puzzle as we waited for our food and hope each time there is as new one to work .

Only been once but it was a great experience. Was busy and long wait yet my food and drink was top notch. Had chicken nachos and I loved the fresh cheese sauce. My lavender lemon drop was pretty and delicious..small but in a good way because it was strong 😉

Don’t really like to give negative reviews but coming in with my wife and two toddlers as a family, we wanted to like this place. Looked really nice inside and I bet the food is good. However unfortunately we were never served after being seated. Waited with menus while multiple staff walked past us to go clean tables or check on others all while giving us that weird avoiding side look.

The NewsRoom Pub is pretty new still but I have been there about 10 times to meet friends or family. I have met the owners who are very sincere and concerned to make this a great venue. The food has been exceptional – the appetizers – fish tacos and hamburgers have been excellently prepared and presented. The outside seating is very pleasant. The service has always been very friendly and attentive. They also have a private room for ten with a screen for private parties and professional presentations that I hope to use in the future. Everyone I have met up with here loves the place. Very easygoing atmosphere and environment with the clever and historical decor! Highly recommend. The photo here is with my friend, Mark, with whom I met with and our server, Sheri! Food visually presents well as you can see!

Absolutely worth a visit if you find yourself in Lynden. Super friendly staff, great food and a nice little bar at the front. Decoration also adds to the experience.

Great food and fun atmosphere. The building is perfectly restored with attention given to every last detail. Drink in every aspect of this magnificent building from the restored ceilings to the repurposed printing equipment and newspaper decor. I can’t imagine a better restoration and repurpose for the former Lynden Tribune building. Do yourself a favor and visit this bright new spot on historic Front Street in Lynden. The service is unmatched. We had the most accommodating server who truly cared about our experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a savory vinaigrette and the wings were to die for. Absolutely perfect lunch. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to try the ice cream on the way out.
