This was our first time enjoying The Nicholson House. A great find on our way to OBX. The food and service were outstanding. We had the grilled chicken wrap and BBQ plate. We can’t wait to return.

This has been one of my favorite local restaurants for upwards of 15 years, the food is great (classic home cooking) and you really can’t beat the atmosphere of such a beautiful Victorian home. Whenever someone visits our area I always recommend the Nicholson House!

Love their food and atmosphere. My husband and I were married there December 21,2016 and used to go every month on the 21st to celebrate. After the C virus they reduced their hours to 11 to 5 and are not open when we can go . I still try and take our visitors there for lunch when I can

Both my husband and myself went for dinner here a few years ago. The house is beautiful, something different, very quaint. The food was nothing special, the piece of pie for desert was tiny. The service was good, the people very friendly. I would like to go back again just for the atmosphere. I hope they are doing well, much nicer than the noisy big restaurant chains.
