Located inside Lama Dog and next to Topa Topa, the Nook is a convenient stop for consistently delicious food at a decent price. The Tater Tots are delicious. The salads are large and tasty. The tacos are wonderful. You truly cannot go wrong!

Menu looked good. Got the lobster Mac n cheese and pork belly quesadilla. $50 later the Mac n cheese had one extra small piece of lobster in the whole dish and the pork belly quesadilla was shredded pork shoulder instead of pork belly.

Love the vibe here. Really great food, enhanced by a fun, casual atmosphere. Enjoyed the Topa Topa burger, crunch from the fried onion ring added some nice texture, and the brie helped to give it another layer of flavor.

This wasn’t my first time coming to Lama Dog and being hungry. Nor was it my first time ordering something from The Nook. But this was the first time that I felt stoked about what I ordered. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which came with fries and it was so tasty. When it came time for me to pay, I about had a heart attack for how much it was… $18 and some change?! You’ve got to be kidding me. Before I saw the price, I had low expectations for how good it would be, but after seeing the price, I had high expectations for it being the best damn reuben I’ve ever had. And you know what… they delivered. It was one of my favorite reuben’s I’ve had in awhile. Granted, I haven’t had a reuben in awhile lol. Nevertheless, I would recommend trying it. The fries were okay… just too greasy and ended up hurting my stomach. The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is simply for the price. Even though it was a delicious reuben, I still don’t think it was worth $18.
