The place was good Italian good. The service was like your neighbor welcoming you in especially Isabella. Before even saying hello she asked two questions and it was like she knew everything about me. There was a nice elderly couple that could be your cool grandparents at the bar. Food was excellent especially the mussels and the shrimp primavera.

This is now called Lucca’s. Food was great. We both had eggplant parm and instead of penne we both got gnocchi. Mine was with pesto, the other was Alfredo. Both very good. Alfredo was not salty like most places. We splurged and got raspberry cheesecake and peanut butter pie. We ate just the cheesecake and it was very good. The raspberry sauce was very tasty. I recommend this place

Grew up in Penfield but only make it back once a year. We visited last year and loved all the food. Tonight must have been an off night. Most of the food lacked seasoning. Even my 89 year old mom who NEVER uses salt added salt to hers. The crab appetizer was good. The chicken vegetable soup needed seasoning. The gnocchi flight was disappointing, it was heavy and pasty and lacked flavor. The Parmesan haddock special was pretty good. The fish was tender and flaky. The draft Blue light was off so I switched to bottle. The wait staff was very nice, and was trying hard.

All I can say is we were very disappointed. When you take over a Rochester Landmark Restaurant you should treat that as a gift, and MAKE SURE TO HONOR the opportunity that was handed to you. We decided to give it a try under the newbies. Food was not edible. Will not be back.

Had not been to the Northside Inn in many years. They were able to accommodate our large party , on short notice. Our Server was amazing. The food was great. We will definitely be back , it was as good as I remembered.

Nice place! I got the Alfredo and the sauce was really flavorful and the pasta was cooked well. I notice a lot of restaurants overcook their pasta, but they did a good job!

Have not been here in years. Great dinner! Awesome and friendly service. Huge portions with great taste. Then some in my party decided somehow they had room for desert and out came two massive slabs of cheese cake. Can’t wait to come back.

The northside inn left me feeling full and not thinking about food. The restaurant was slow, but not in a bad way.

It’s a decent Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff and they work hard. Food quality is … fair. I think their Artichokes French is really really good. I would stay clear of their Alfredo sauce. It’s not very good. It’s no competition for the Italian restaurants on the west side of the city though.

We visited for my dad’s birthday. Portions were very large (larger than expected, so explains the price.) We had lots to take home. It was delicious, and the food came to us very quickly. Please order your steak well done because the inner part is very red, but I think that’s the case with all western restaurants. *laughs* I love Italian food in general, so give this place a try. The food was swimming in wine and I felt a bit drunk after the meal, but very satisfied. I also like the bread they served us at the beginning. Everything goes well in the marinara sauce.
