Love this place. Very much the home town hole in the wall with great service, good food, and honest prices. Went with the steak sandwich.l, which is chopped steak griddled to a sear. I probably should have asked for light butter as this thing was dripping. Others in my group got the burger and shrimp/perch. They enjoyed their meal as well. Onion rings were perfectly fried. The white cheese nuggets were the highlight until dessert, when we had the Key Lime, Take Five, and Butterscotch Tortes. Was like being back at my Great Grandma’s house. Just delicious. Also a nice spot to do some trainspotting as well!

It was a Friday night, and we heard the perch dinner was good. After a 15-minute wait (they were busy as they had been closed for a week on vacation), we were quickly seated and had placed our drink and dinner orders. My wife opted for the perch sandwich. My brother and sister-in-law opted for butter burgers and sweet potato fries. No disappointment. The food was great. We will go back!

Best place in the county for a great steak sandwich. Ask for light butter if you don’t want butter running down your arms while you eat; but for those who say the more, the better, dive in! Staff is always friendly and courteous. Remember to bring cash, they do not accept anything but that. There IS an ATM on site should you forget. Enjoy!!!

Passed Gosse and finally has a chance to try them out! It’s a nice little homely building inside and out, fitted with a dining room and bar and is very clean as well as easy to move around in and is aided by a generally pleasant atmosphere. Service was great and attentive, no problems there! Food was very good! I got some nice and crispy tater tots, a very scrumptious four piece boasted chicken and potatoes dinner and lastly a nigh decadent red velvet torte I had to pace myself from wolfing down, all at a very good price! No problems, I really liked Gosse and will probably go back again sometime.

Nice atmosphere and bar, good service. This place is serving up the best brats I’ve ever experienced… period. The butter on top was sublime and rich The bun exactly toasted perfect and the grilled onions just tied it all together perfectly. Highly recommend.

Went out for lunch with my folks. Had a great steak sandwich, butter dripping down my elbow. It doesn’t get better than that. Broccoli soup was delicious. Regret not getting a torte to go! For sure next time!

In my opinion as a local resident of Sheboyan, Northwestern House has the best Sheboygan style cheesesteaks on City Bakery hardroll, perch dinner every day and sooo tasty, the juiciest broasted chicken you’ve ever had and don’t forget about all the homemade tortes.
