Not exactly sure what happened. I dropped a review last week and now it’s gone. Anyway… I’m really amazed at the high ratings this place is getting. I know it has history and it’s been on TV or something, but ok there then the chicken the food is terrible. And even the chicken isn’t the best I’ve have. So not exactly sure what everybody is raving about. Yes, there was definitely a lot of options in the buffet. The ribs were just okay, not smoked or anything. Looks like they came out of the oven. The other meats I couldn’t really tell what they were. The mac & cheese and coleslaw tasted spoiled. It took one bite of both and didn’t finish the rest. The place had a very interesting atmosphere with business cards posted everywhere. Other than them making you wash your hands before you ate, the place seemed very dirty. For that price I would definitely not recommend going here.

If you get within 50 miles of this place it is worth it. Perfect Southern comfort food in all categories, Mr. D is a delight, and this place is an experience, not just a restaurant. Amazing buffet!!

This was a great find. We pulled over just because we thought the building was cool. Little did we know we walked into an old school style all you can eat buffet. The owner sang to us and was super friendly. Food was pretty good too. We are going back soon.

Fried chicken is the best. The rest is ok and the dessert cobblers are great. Mr. D. WILL sing to you! It has great atmosphere. A must see. And you will wash your hands before you can be seated. I loved it ❤️

Great place to say you’ve been there. Chicken on the buffet is good (make sure you get the fresh pieces!), but I’d have to say not the best in the world, but still worth the visit, and Mr D. Can sang y’all!

What a Southern treasure! The fried chicken is superb and the cobblers are to die for. Hand washing AND sanitizing is a must upon entering before heading to the buffet. Mr. D, a true Southern gentleman, is quite charming and adept at serenading the ladies! Very enjoyable! Highly recommend!!

Forgot to leave a review last time I was here. Best fried chicken in the world, and Mr. D is a treasure. Service was quick and this is the best place to stop if you are just traveling through or making a day trip out to Rodney and/or Port Gibson. Itching to go back.
