It was my girlfriend’s birthday and she wanted the best pan fried oysters in Skagit County, so we went to The Old Edison. Everything was perfect, I got the fish and chips dinner, and the cod was perfectly cooked and too big for me to finish. Fries were nice and crispy, too.

Always fun! We had a milestone party here with about 18 people. The wait staff was amazing! They kept the food and beverages moving and were attentive the entire time. Everyone’s bill was correct even though we all moved around a lot. This is such a fun place with their shuffle board tables. They have two! Food is delicious and drinks are what they should be. Correctly made and not watered down. I definitely recommend the restaurant for a fun evening with friends.

I’ll be back after my first visit! I finally stopped in here after seeing this place for a few years. Loved my experience here for an unplanned lunch. The oyster burger with homemade chips was ample and scrumptious. My conversation with Lynn , the co-owner, was great. She gave me the lowdown on the place and how she and her husband became the owners. Why hadn’t I stopped in here early???

Don’t sleep on this spot. Fish + Chips were spot on. Bow burger was cooked perfectly. Bartender Amber was just the best! She had fresh raspberries in and made me a custom cocktail. I saw another gal come in with a difficult cocktail request. Amber pulled it off perfectly. Will def come back!

Updated “again” 11/02/22: Tamra is the quintessential host! Just a great time and a superb lunch to boot! The Bow Burger once again & the French Dip, simply sublime! Another stellar performance by all, thank you so much!! UPDATED 4/11/2022 – Check out the burger pics! The BOW BURGER was incredible. It could be the BEST burger I have ever eaten, a close second would be the Rue 57 burger in NYC. Simply amazing, fresh, extremely well cooked, presentation the whole 9 yards! (Previously) The Old Edison in Edison, WA., our new find and it’s makes our TOP 5 List for the best bars in the PNW! It’s just a quick run-down the Chuckanut from where we live in Fairhaven or an even quicker run down the I-5, either way, it’s worth the trek! Hot wings and lightly fried pickles makes for a perfect mid-afternoon snack / early dinner! Add in Corvidea Mirth Chardonnay by the glass and you have the perfect pairings. Live music on weekends will only add to the enjoyment we are certain. We are already looking to return. John is the ultimate host and Elisa is a lovely bartender that knows how to take care of her clientele. Thank you all for a wonderful afternoon!

We went there for lunch and they were out of their chips, which are delicious. They were out of lamb for the gyro. They were out of chicken tenders. Strike there. We really like the place but will call to make sure things are available before we settle down .

We stopped in after visiting the Samish Overlook and had a great lunch. Arriving at noon on Sunday, it was not crowded, although it did get busier while we were eating. We had fish and chips and clam strips. Both were very good. The service was fast and friendly.

This place is a secret bombshell. The oyster shooters were a flavor explosion. The mussels phenomenal. A salad that tasted as if it came straight from a backyard garden. Live music. We live in Seattle and will definitely be back.
