Went here while dropping our daughter off to college. We ordered some burgers and kids meals, food was good. My daughter had the Moo Oink & Quack which is a Buffalo chicken between two thin hamburger patties; tasty, not spicy. I had the the Spicy Goat burger which is two thin hamburger patties and a jalapeño cream cheese; this too was good, my daughter and I didn’t think it was very spicy. My wife had the egg burger which was good. Our other kids ordered some kids meals and they like me them too. Service was a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t bother us; the server did forget some things like a drink that we ended up canceling as we were all done.

My finance has had this place on his wanna-go list for about a year, and I wish we had gone sooner because it was SO GOOD!!! Definitely coming back! We got the truffle fries, which were really good. And then he got the goat burger, I got the fried pickle burger, and my mom got the steakhouse. They were all really good, but we all agreed that the goat was… Well, the g.o.a.t also, all of the employees there were super nice, unfortunately the waitress we had is going to be leaving soon. The service was also very quick. I would definitely recommend going here for good food and a good time

I’ve been here quite a bit and usually really like the food. Today was just…disappointing though. I ordered the “tavern cheese & pretzel bites” but what I received was pretzel buns that had been sliced and fried. I could literally squeeze grease out of the bread it was not pleasant! It’s very misleading to list the item as pretzel bites.

Definitely a college sports bar vibe. But it was fun. Staff was very friendly and the bartender actually knew how to make drinks. We got a brand new server, but she did very well. Our food came out hot and fairly quick. It was a slow Monday but still brought in a small crowd by the nights end. Food was great.

I’m 2019 when it happen I didn’t leave a review but since this was the second time I am stating my experience from February of 2023. Every time I have ate here (twice) I got violently sick and threw up. The sauce they offer clearly has a mayo base and I don’t think it’s being stored at proper temperatures. I thought the first time it might just have been me and since there is no Smashburger here I caved when I was craving truffle fries and tried them again. Big mistake. Makes me want to dispute the charges as the truffle fries start @ $8. Also if you order pick up they tell you a time you’re food will be done but it’s either done before or after so your food temp varies.

I was at the old goat a few days ago. I was overall satisfied with the service I received. My server was very pleasant with me and she kept checking in on me during my visit. I ordered Loaded tater tots. When I got my order several minutes later (not a long wait) I was a bit disappointed to see that they barely put any beer cheese on my tater tots and I barely had any bacon bits placed on my tater tots both in which I paid for. I then asked a bartender to make me a strawberry margarita and once she handed me the drink,it tasted as if she put way too much tequila in it. So I asked if it can be remade and I definitely was not disappointed in the remade drink. I personally will come back. Every business has its flaws sometimes but overall it is a great hangout spot and a perfect place in town to chow down on some food.

By far the best food I’ve eaten being up north. The staff is truly like a family, consistently giving great customer service. But genuinely strive to make what they do the best. The Goat Burger was hard to put down, the flavors just kept you wanting more. The spicy cheese curds were unbelievable, my hats off to whoever created the menu. Definitely a spot I recommend to others to eat and drink. Bartender definitely made great recommendations. Management here know what they want, and what they are doing. It is a college town, but hey they treat everyone like a backyard BBQ, FAMILY!
