Sunshine On a Cloudy Day
I went during a busy lunch time and paid the price. I originally had down a 4 for service, but I changed it to a 5 because it wasn’t bad service. I actually had great service from my waitress. What was bad, really bad, was the cook time of my burger. It took them over 20-25 minutes to get out a cheeseburger and fries. It wasn’t overly busy in them, but the place was pretty full. It leads me to believe that they forgot, or misplaced, my ticket, because it took quite a while. My waitress apologized 2-3 times, and she was new (she told me that) so she might not have been in top of the order either, or she would have told the kitchen to get going. A good, seasoned waitress is more likely to get after the cooks. Lol. All in all, it was a nice place with decent food.

With so much bad service over the past 3 years I felt I had to make this review. Ordered take out on a Friday evening. Lady that took my order was very courteous. Order was exactly like I ordered. Cheeseburger fries Perfect. Chicken wrap perfect even for my most picky eater and the chicken strips with loaded potato Perfect. Food, quantity and price all perfect. Well done Old Mine House. I was about to give up on eating out.

I ordered Boneless Honey Garlic Chicken Wings and Fries. The chicken was Barely warm with decent flavor. The fries are way too over seasoned. My wife ordered a Buffal Chicken wrap and it was Very salty and over seasoned. Yhe only good experience we had was the Waitress was very good.

Outstanding service and food! No complaints, and we’ll be back. Some of the friendliest wait staff we have encountered. We don’t drink, but if you do, there is a bar. A couple of pool tables are available as well.

Employees are great friendly foods good. If you play the games though you are throwing your money away because if you do win anything they will make up anything they can to rob you of the money you’ve spent and deny you anything you won! Beware you will be taken advantage of and robbed blind!

Food was good, the Cajun fried pickles were awesome and so were the crawfish beignets for appetizers. I had the bbq wings which were sauced a bit heavy but still good. The setting was nice, although a few smokers came in toward the end of our visit which is expected since it is a bar and grill. Overall good experience will visit again.
