Check out the old school house conversion! Great atmosphere, wonderful pub food. We were too hungry to think about pictures until the end, but the missing mushroom Swiss burger was delicious, and the handmade chips you can see. Wings with garlic parmesan sauce and deep-fried ravioli with marinara sauce were awesome!! Want to go back and check out the Friday fish fry, which they said have people lined up before they open!! Check it out when you are in the area!!

My wife ordered a fish Cod dinner on Friday. Which was very, very good . I ordered the catfish. I didn’t like it as much as I liked her Cod. The waitress was wonderful, not very busy. We were there at, like, 4 thirty, but it started packing at about 5:15.

This stop was definitely one of our favorites! My husband and I have been on the road working in different states nonstop since March and won’t be home until the first week in June. I randomly stumbled upon this place while working in the Apple Canyon/Galena Territory area and suggested we go there for dinner after reading a few reviews. Being from West TN, we are just “down home country folk”. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like family and it reminded us of home. Everyone knew everyone. Our service was great, staff was so friendly, and our food (cheese curds, taco pizza, fish&shrimp combo) was delicious. We didn’t get drinks but I’m sure they would’ve been great too! Love the atmosphere and pride in the USA of this place. We will be eating here again before we leave the area and making this a stop on our yearly work trips here for years to come.

I had the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich with fries and my wife had the mushroom burger with fries. We were there around 6ppm and the place was very busy. We were seated quickly. Staff was friendly and the the food came out in good time hot snd fresh. Really a nice looking place and clean. We had 3 beers each and the cost was $46 for the food and beers. I was my first time there and the second time for my wife. Will definitely make the half hour to 40 minute drive again from Dubuque.

Great food! We had catfish, fried shrimp and boneless wings dinners. All dinners were prepared to perfection! Fantastic atmosphere and prices. Fried pickle appetizer was delicious. We’ll be back when visiting friends in the area.
