Extremely bad food and service We should have left immediately but I wanted to give these jerks a chance. The guy running the place was rude to us coming in, then rude as all get out to a guy who had recommended the place to the people with him. Worst brisket and ribs I’ve ever had. I’ve had better food at a truck stop! You’ve been warned!

I give The Old Steam Engine 5 stars on their food. I really enjoyed their Philly cheese steak (made with prime rib) and on our last trip most of us got the prime rib which was excellent with a huge portion of meat, large baked potato and salad. They have the best corn bread sevrved with honey butter. Service was very friendly but a little disorganized. We will be back.

My brother in-law brought my family Prime Rib dinners from there a couple of weeks ago. “GREAT” Haven’t had such a great slab of meat in years. My husband stopped & picked up the 3 meat meal tonight. “SUPER” Everything we have tried from the baked beans to the cornbread & honey butter. Thank you for the good eats.

Pulled pork is amazing! Ice tea was refreshing. Service was friendly enough until one of the locals comes in to chit chat. In my opinion, people who are getting food should not be allowed to stand in the kitchen and talk to the cook while the cook is preparing my food. Its unsanitary.

The best bbq I’ve found in oregon! Also on Saturdays they do a prime rib special, but make sure to make a reservation for prime rib as they sell out frequently. This place is truly a hidden gem… go there once and you’ll be back over and over. We dive an hour just to eat away the old steam engine and it’s worth it every time! If you love bbq, or it’s Saturday and you love prime rib this place is a must. And the staff and locals are all sort friendly also! Two thumbs way up!

Best BBQ in Southern Oregon. Potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, corn bread….all Yummy. Trish is truly concerned everything ok. Chef is award winning competition BBQ master. We are soooo lucky to have them around. Only open Sat & Sun. Have lunch, take a quick look at the picturesque falls…visit the historic settler cemetary with wooden markers…then a walkie at Willow Lake… then continue to main road to K-falls (140 ?)..turn right and return to Medford for satisfying weekend road trip. Recommended.
