I thought that for a place starting out it was a phenomenal experience. The owner Sam came over to our table and asked how everything was which was awesome; not enough owners show themselves. The food was on the level of OAK steakhouse which is the highest compliment I can give as it’s my favorite restaurant in the valley. I will confidently say the food was fantastic. Cocktails were wonderful. The overall experience I enjoyed and thought what I paid was very fair. Oak has my heart, but I think In time this place might take the #1 spot. Great job and thank you to the staff that was very friendly and attentive the entire time. Great experience if you are in it for the food and not all the noise from social media.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food! Definitely recommend the espresso flights; the peanut butter one was my favorite! Even though it’s a steakhouse, I highly recommend their scallops with truffle mushrooms and cauliflower purée!!! No complaints at all! Our servers Tony and Jake were also the best! :)) Shoutout the chef, his dishes are AMAZING!

The steaks were cooked to perfection, the main plate was absolutely perfect. The sides were not seasoned to our liking but you could tell it had flavor. The orchid cocktail was so fun. I feel the prices are very fair. Staff was so attentive. Overall a lovely, lovely steakhouse.

My best friend and I were driving through South Side and we saw so many outdoor tables filled at this new restaurant so we wanted to try it. The atmosphere was so beautiful, we said “wow” as we walked in. The service was fantastic, everyone was very nice and efficient. Our waiter was Tony and he was so pleasant, he made our night ten times better. He was really knowledgeable about the menu, he made great suggestions and answered any questions we had. The service was efficient and the food was delicious, we loved everything we ordered. We will definitely recommend The Orchid Steakhouse to friends and will be returning.

Had such a great time !! The service went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect experience. From the appetizers to the entrees the details in the food were out of the world, the chef is easily one of the best I’ve had across the entire world ! My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Walking in, the atmosphere was welcoming and charming. Our waitress Sammy was friendly and attentive. The food was very delicious! For starters we got the steak tartare and the burrata. For entrees, I got the filet mignon & my boyfriend got a ribeye and they were cooked to perfection. Adding truffle butter to our steak was the best decision too. It really elevated our meal. For sides, we shared truffle mac & cheese as well as the asparagus. I tried the “Night in Rome” cocktail which was super tasty. The owner Samantha was very friendly. She made sure every table was taken care of and was having a great experience. She also requested feedback on how they could improve! It was hard for us to say anything negative. We will definitely be back!

My best friend and I decided to try this restaurant before we both went back to college. We were so excited and it did not disappoint. The food was exquisite (definitely recommend the chocolate peanut butter cake!), the service was fantastic, our server Tony was so kind, helpful, and attentive, best server I’ve had, and the atmosphere is to die for, it is so elegant and beautiful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal with a wonderful staff.

From the atmosphere to the actual service the orchid has surpassed the expectations I had. Every time I come back to PA I will be coming here. This has been the best steak house I’ve ever been to in the Lehigh Valley. Already made another reservation for when I come back in September! Don’t believe the other 1star reviews, they haven’t even been to the restaurant cause if you have you know how great this place is.

What a wonderful experience. Food was amazing, staff was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was unique and gorgeous. I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly and was so good. Drinks were good and they had plenty of options. Lot of different options for everyone.
