After reading several reviews, we knew we had to check this place out. It was nice to see the old time tradition of serving of fried noodles on the table along with duck sauce as we sat at our table. The noodles were obviously fried in house and I had to ask for some Chinese mustard (it was amazing, sinus clearing amazing ) which was quickly served. We each had an egg roll with shrimp which contained 2 decent sized whole shrimp, surprised for such a reasonable price. Of course that amazing mustard was used again, a perfect delicious match. The duck with ginger and scallions had an outstanding sauce which was served with white rice. The sauce was soy based with a hint of sweetness, totally delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly and was cut up and on the bone. The general tso’s shrimp was served with gigantic pieces of shrimp in a delectable sauce, but wasn’t as spicy as we’re used to, however it was still pretty amazing. Both of us had to take our meals home which provided an additional meal for each of us and then some. The service was impeccable, very attentive, accommodating and quick to remove plates. We’ll definitely be back to explore the Thai dishes as well as other parts of the menu. Based on the dishes we had, I’m positive that we’ll enjoy another great meal.

Food is legit good. Chef and owner are both lovely. We got to chat and meet them. Best chinese food in the area tucked in a little corner that might be hard to spot from the road. They also do some other cuisines with a dash of fusion. Plenty of parking up front and even more at the back of the store. Highly recommended!

This was amongst the worst Chinese meals I have ever had. First the food. Tasteless and had the the taste of freezer burn. All 4 dishes were either stale or had more cabbage than the required ingredients. The wait staff was disinterested and very unfriendly. The best part were the gnats and flies buzzing about our faces as we tried to eat. Pretty expensive given the poor quality.

Stumbled across this hidden gem several years ago and it’s been my go-to Chinese spot since! The portions are huge, service is fantastic and the food is – nothing short of sensational. When I order takeout, the hot and sour soup and szechuan paradise dish are absolute musts. The salt and pepper squid and peking duck pancakes are also amazing. Pictured below are specials from a dinner we had here for our son’s graduation. Beautiful lobster, steak and salmon dishes put together for the occasion. What an experience! Whether you’re in need of a quick takeout order on a Tuesday afternoon or an extravagant dinner prepared for ten guests on a Saturday night, The Oriental does not miss.

WOW !!! I do Asian food often and this place is amazing Hands down the best Asian Food I’ve ever eaten. Diamond in the rough please try and find it. I had the Salt n Pepper Calamari, so fresh garlic green onion jalapeno delicious. The Pork Bao was so good, sweet, soft. The Dim Sum sampler was good I wish we’d ordered more I will go back just for a Dim Sum day. The Shrimp Thai fried rice was so flavorful. And the pecking duck was cooked to perfection soft and crispy. If you afraid of flavor this place may not be your cup of tea. But if you love flavor and are tires of the regular Chinese, Japanese, Thai place, come here and have lunch or dinner. Hands down the best Asian Food I’ve ever eaten!!

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Marlboro. Everything is prepared fresh and tastes great. The duck pizza appetizer is amazing and a must try. White meat sesame chicken and general tso chicken. Have not had bad food here once. Highly recommend these guys if you are looking for Chinese food in the area. Nice sitting area inside but they also offer take out. They get busy for holidays. Try this place, you will not be disappointed!

This is Marlene, Larry’s wife. We both enjoy the gluten free Asian cuisine. GF hot and sour soup-what a treat.Fresh and tasty. I am not gluten sensitive but I am happy that Larry can have the food he used to enjoy here. There is one problem. I have spinal stenosis so I really need to use a bar on the wall in he restroom. I was surprised to find that they don’t have one in the laddies room. Not a big deal for most people but I almost had to call for help today which would have been embarrassing for every one. I was able to get up by pulling out a drawer in the sink cabinet and using it to leverage myself up. Thank goodness the drawer did not pull out or break as I would have ended up on the floor in well, a very embarrassing condition. I hope they fix this situation and install a bar as I really like this restaurant, but when ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

Amazingly friendly staff! We have been ordering from them for about a year and most recently have had the privilege dining in their establishment for the 3rd time. They do not disappoint! I ordered chicken with string beans combo with white rice, beef with mixed vegetables and fried rice combo- and steam chicken with mixed veggies with white rice, first the order were totally wrong we got the beef with white rice and the chicken with fried rice and the steam chicken with mix veggie were not steam. I could live with it but the food was not cooked at all we are sick from the food and the fried rice just to add was yellow. Fried rice is now yellow where it looks like Spanish rice. Fried rice suppose to be a crisp brown look with scramble eggs in it and veggies. But beside the fact we got sick from the food. I don’t recommend this place at all!
