Campione’s Taste of Chicago is a legit Chicago style beef and hot dog restaurant. I’m a Chicago who has eaten Italian Beef sandwiches my whole life. This place got it right. The hot dogs are delicious as well. I highly recommend is you want an authentic experience to go stop in and try one. The owner is cool too.

A taste of home!!! If you are from Chicago and want a good Chicago beef sandwich, hot dog, cheese fries…..this is your place. So tasty, so good. The owners are awesome people and the place is all decked in Chicago decor!! Go BEARS!!! Just check the hours before you go because this place is family owned and operated and runs on family time…depending if they may close early for their own family events. I love that too!!! This was my first experience with Chicago style food. I must say, It was awesome! Another Google local guide visited here and gave a 5 star review. Needless to say, I had to try them. And, I agree!! My wife had the Italian beef, and I had the Combo Sammich. For desert, we both had the Canoli. The owners and staff are super friendly. The dining room is small but not cramped. The atmosphere is pleasant. You can dine in, carry out, or use Uber Eats.

Listen, if you’re looking for a real bite this place has what you are looking for. Since it was our first time, we were given a taste of their sliced beef on bun. I made a mistake not ordering this beef. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Perfect. That was followed up with a Brat on poppy seed bun and relish, peppers, onions, a pickle on the sideline. It was an absolute smash. Absolute no joke at all. If you don’t know what you are in the mood for, I can promise you that you will be in the mood for this.
