I recently visited The Original Chicago’s Pizza in Elk Grove, CA, and I had an incredible experience! I ordered the veggie masala pizza and it was out of this world. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was clear that the ingredients were of high quality, and the combination of flavors was simply delicious.

I was looking for a place to eat and when I saw the original Chicago pizza go pizza place, comma I had to go there because I lived in Chicago for 10 years and when I came back to California I California I actually opened a restaurant a year later called the taste of Chicago because I was crazy About the food and I was just sick for it. I ended up having 2 restaurants chased taste of Chicago and and for a few years just loved it and the people loved the food too but I never did pizza. So when I saw this place I had to go and get Pizza.

I came here a long time ago and had the Masala Fries which were so good, I must say this time they were a bit disappointing. They didn’t put as much seasoning as the first time I tried it. Today I also had the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, Lamb Bbq pizza and the Tandoori pizza all of which were incredible. If you’re looking for a pizza spot to hang I highly recommend here they serve great beers like Modelo’s, Hazy IPA and more! Pizza has become so plain, big chain pizza spot places like domino’s and little Cesar’s can’t even compare to a more family owned places like this, get your pizza from here!!!!

I remember this location was one of the first to introduce punjabi pizzas. They make good food. Especially with franchises like pizza twist( who lack training and proper experience)popping up, it is important we give credit to original Indian pizza. Not some franchise that cover your pizza in colored Mayo.

Posting as regular costumers. We have been going to Chicago Pizza for a long time. However today we found fault with their garlic Naan bread. We simply called to inform them that the bread was dry and thin. Normally Naan bread has some thick with it. Instead of just listening the employee became extremely rude and told us we can “go elsewhere” which is fine but this sort of behavior is uncalled and unprofessional. I will actively encourage people to take their business elsewhere.

Catered food from here recently. The manager said if I paid cash, he would give us a discount but he actually was being dishonest. As soon as I modified the order reducing it by two pizzas, he asked to pay the full amount. He said unfortunately he “can’t give a discount” else he “will get in trouble”. If it wasn’t for a last minute issue, I’d have absolutely not given them our business. Naan was salty and cold too. Pizza was good. When my husband went to pick up the food, he was adding $10 more to the bill. He said with cash, he’ll give a discount as that is what he promised me so my husband paid cash and he still charged the full price. Watch your receipts closely and match it to the item prices if you go here especially when paying large amounts and/or using credit cards!!! And this review is for the Elk Grove store.

I’ve been here multiple times before and customer service was excellent but the last 2 times have been horrible. There’s a new guy at the front who has the worst customer service, it’s the tall guy with colored eyes. When I called in the order I asked to substitute mushrooms for spring onions and noneless he charged me extra for the spring onions, when I asked he refused to remove the charge then I was like whatever. Then when I go to get some ranch he said no you can’t take that many which was 5 for a family size pizza which serves at least 6 people… He said only 2 which makes no sense when you can have as many as you want when eating there but I couldn’t do it because I was fasting and taking it for my family at home. Yesterday when we ordered delivery, we didn’t get any ranch included and pizza was extremely spicy to eat and how I have a whole pizza waiting to be eaten.
