I’m so frustrated. The burgers are decent, but if you order anything else get ready for some subpar cafeteria food. We ordered the Mac and cheese and it was clearly Kraft with extra shredded cheddar on top. Mozzarella sticks are either from Sam’s club or Sysco, but that really what you want when ordering mozzarella sticks. The pickle spears have the oddest musty after taste. I will say the onion rings are great, batter is superb and the dipping sauce is pretty good.

My wife and I took a friend when they first opened and unfortunately, both our burgers were over cooked to well done, even though the Menu said we could order our desired doneness. She was medium rare and I was medium. Both came out well done +. Our friend ordered a fish sandwich which he enjoyed.

We stopped in yesterday for lunch. I got the Junior patty with no bun and onion rings. Both were delicious!! Plan on going back soon. Tasted their Dynamite sauce too. Has a little heat to it. Very good. Service was great as well

This was the absolute worst lunch experience. This place is a disgrace to the Original Patty name. Not only was the food inedible, the service was terrible. We arrived at opening and were the only people in the restaurant. We placed our order and waited an entire hour to receive everyone’s food (a table of 6). Every burger was burnt to a crisp despite being ordered “medium”. One of the burgers smelled rancid. It looked as though they reheated old burgers and they had been sitting in the back a while before bringing them to our table. Fries were cold. The Original Patty on Johnston street puts this place to absolute shame. The owner of this chain needs to look individually at these places and should be embarrassed this building carries the name.

First and last visit here. The gumbo was cold and hardly had meat in it. It was just some sausage and a couple pieces of chicken and a lot of broth, flavor was bad. It came out ice cold. Leftovers from yesterday I guess. The potato salad was dry and flavorless. One of the worst restaurants in Lafayette. Won’t be coming back.

Service was excellent. I believe the waitress name was Casey. Maybe wrong. She did a great job of taking care of us. Food was good. My burger was overcooked. Everyone else said their good was very good. I’ve been back several time. Very good.

Food was good. Service was off the charts bad. I came in for lunch and there were tables available toward the back, but the hostess asked if I wanted to wait or sit at the bar. I only have an hour for lunch, so I sat at the bar. For reference, I arrived at 12:08. I didn’t get to order until 12:25. Meanwhile, I believe the owners and friends were sitting nearby, never asking about my impressions. My food didn’t arrive until 12:47. I had to wolf down my hamburger and fries in 8 minutes and pay so I could get back in time. Not the best first impression.
