Our unique diner provides a breakfast menu that offers 36 varieties of Pancakes and French toast, as well as a large selection of Omelets, Frittatas and Eggs Benedict. Don’t forget to try our diner’s signature dishes as well.
For lunch, our menu features fresh salads, hand pressed burgers, melts, club sandwiches, house specials, grilled, marinated chicken sandwiches and daily soup specials.
We are always changing and expanding our menu to provide our customers with as many new & healthy food choices as possible.

We are regulars at the one on Jefferson road, the food is always excellent, prices are superb. Environment is always busy but really nice. In this location when we visited it was close to 12noon they close at 2pm we got seated in les than a second, which is a surprise to me because these restaurants are always full. Waitress was fast in taking the order but our food took an hour to come out. The place wasn’t full, but, it was like they forgot about our table and orders. Home fries were still hard, not cooked all the way through but that’s the only reason why I gave service 3 stars.

Honestly, it wasn’t all that great. The food was subpar. It took them almost an hour to bring out our food. My mom’s meal was supposed to come with a sauce and when then brought it out, the sever was asked if it was supposed to be there.

Holy heck this place is impressive! They have a massive amount of breakfast options! Their pancakes are huge! My wife ordered a French toast made with slices of banana bread, covered in walnuts and banana slices. I ordered the El Paso. An omelette, with cheddar cheese, and jalapeno, chorizo. Topped with Chili. The potatoes were crispy. Hands down the best breakfast in chili, NY! We just went this morning and are already planning to go back tomorrow!

There’s a lot of reasons why people rave about The Original Steve’s Diner! We were fortunate enough to find a table very early one day. It’s a bit cramped inside, so be prepared to know your neighbors. The food was amazing and pricing was more than fair. I wish they would move to an even bigger location though so I could go more often without the wait times, but even if you wait, you’ll be happy!
