The day we visited the restaurant was my brother’s birthday. It was a last minute little family get together. There were seven of us total, plus a to go order. The waitress was awesome. She was attentive, but not overbearing like some waitresses. Food was awesome as always. On that day, the dish my brother wanted was not on the menu, but the cook made it for him anyway, when he found out it was his birthday. It was truly a great time.

I go in at 9:30 to order food and have a drink at which time I told by the bartender that the kitchen is closed and I’m on a conference call with my cousin sharing my opinion about this kitchen being closed at 9:30 while the bar is open until 2. The bartender jumps into my private conversation violating the first amendment and tells me “sir don’t sit here if your gonna talk about the bar or owner!” Waaaaaaaa whaaa whaaaaaat? I wasn’t rude I wasn’t disrespectful I was sharing my opinion about the amount of money lost by choosing to close the kitchen at 9:30 and remain open until 2. OPINIONS ARE ILLEGAL HERE! My wife and I stopped by after a long morning at Eckley’s Miners Village. The food and service were both great. I ordered the steak antipasto salad as well as six wings. They were both delicious. I’d drive a couple hours just to enjoy this meal again.
