I have been going to the palace for well over 20 years, the food has ALWAYS been great, I highly suggest the egg rolls, sweet and sour soup, sesame chicken, and Mongolian beef. The staff is family run, the food is great, they have recently updated their look. Its a hole in the wall place but the best around. If you stop by and want a little taste of everything try the appetizer platter with the dumplings, shrimp toast, egg rolls, and crab angels. Worth every penny!

My family & I have been going there since 2000 when we moved to Birmingham. We are like family & they always treat us as such. Our daughter graduated from college & that’s where she wanted to celebrate. We’ve NEVER had a bad meal (dine-in or take-out). I HIGHLY recommend The Palace!

I’ve been a customer for several years and the food is always good. The egg rolls are the best I’ve had. However, in the last few years they have gotten skimpy on the chips/noodles you get with the hot and sour soup, especially on carry out orders. I understand times have been tough with inflation, but it has gotten a little ridiculous.

I’ve been eating at the Palace for well over 10 years – in my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant around! The food is delicious, the portions are great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a go-to takeout spot in this area.

Typical American Chinese food. It was good just not excellent. They appeared to be vastly under staffed which seemed to be the reason for our longer than expected wait times. Staff that I interacted with appeared to me emotionless, husks of what they may be outside of their work environment.

I placed an order but there weren’t any utensils in bag or napkins. I called the restaurant back to ask if they were out and the young lady stated they do not include any unless you ask.
