Really crowded on a Monday night. I was told that was normal as that was the day East Glacier has incoming flights. We were a party of nine with kids. Ordered a variety of things. Service was very slow but the food was pretty good. Kids liked the pizza and the burgers were good as well.

The Bison Sausage Pizza was amazing! Laura and all the staff provided great service. Absolutely make this a stop while visiting Glacier!

The food was excellent (bacon cheeseburger and the chocolate cake are very good). Our server, Jonglen, was exceptional. He checked on us regularly, he was very well-spoken, and extremely polite. We couldn’t have asked for better service.

Had the Bison Burger. $18 for a dry barely edible burger. Sweet Potato fries were cold and greasy and an additional $3.50. My husband had the same and his was also dry and tasteless. Waitress was very sweet. Food on the other hand was not worth $40 for two burgers.

I gave myself a week to cool off about our experience here but I am still bothered. We were very excited about this place, it had great reviews, and the menu looked awesome. For context, it was fairly busy (maybe 60% of tables full) and they seemed like they only had 2 or 3 servers, plus bar staff and a hostess. Our party of three was seated quickly, but waited about 20 minutes for anyone to come talk to us. We could tell they seemed understaffed, so we were patient and (unlike the table next to us) did not wave or snap our fingers to get the waiters attention. Our waiter eventually came, apologized for the wait, and took our order. We ordered garlic cheesy bread, two burgers and a bison sausage pizza. All was well. The appetizer came out quickly and it was fantastic. The pizza came out next, and it was a pepperoni instead of sausage. No big deal, we told the food runner it was supposed to be sausage and he took it back. Our burgers came out, they were pretty good, but we were still waiting on the replacement pizza. After 20 more minutes, the waiter came by and asked if there was anything else we needed, and we mentioned we were still waiting on the pizza. He seemed surprised by this, and went to go look for it. He then brought back the exact same pepperoni pizza, and we explained that she had ordered the bison sausage pizza. He said okay, and went to the kitchen to ask them to prep a bison sausage pizza, or so we thought. He then came back to ask if we wanted the bison burger to go. At this point we were extremely confused, and one member of our party had now not had any food for an hour. She decided just to have them prepare the bison burger to go, despite never actually ordering the bison burger. He apologized for mishearing her order (now twice), but then brought the bison burger out on a plate with no box. I asked if he could bring a box, since we now needed it to go as he had initially suggested. At no point were we demanding, short, or impolite. When we got the check, the iPads that they were using to check people out crashed three times. When we received the receipt, we realized the waiter had tipped himself on top of what our party had already tipped him. I understand being understaffed, and the iPad ordering systems seemed stressful and not super functional. But on top of never receiving the food we actually ordered AND paying for food we DIDN’T order, to have a server change his tip was honestly the last straw. Would not go back.

Visiting from out of town and checked this restaurant out. Note, it doesn’t pull up on the map because it changed hands and was called Leo’s Elkhorn but they are the same place.

This was the most over-hyped restaurant we encountered in East Glacier. We were told it was better than the Lodge, which we’d eaten at a few nights before, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. The service was mediocre, but holy COW the food was so bad. The “steak” fries were filled with air, not potato, and the black bean burger was flakey, over-salted, and bland. I heard good things about the pizza, which we didn’t try, but a restaurant’s staple can’t save every dish.

The bison burger was over cooked and barely even edible. When I mentioned it to the server, he brought the manager out who would not comp the bill. We didn’t have time to stay for a replacement meal. The server was great but the lack of care for the customer by management was disappointing at best.

I must say the revamping of the menu at this rare local eatery was the highlight of my recent dining out experience. The mixologist / waiter want above and beyond with the service and my favorite dinner beverage-a dirty martini made to perfection! As well I am not a meat eater however I love seafood primarily shrimp and lobster and I was accommodated with the grilled shrimp minus the steak. I would love to see an hors d’oeuvre of shrimp cocktail on their menu. I have recommended the peak to my friends and family for a nice dining experience. Thank you Justin!!!
