The Ambiance of The Pearl is very nice. We had a reservation, but we’re seated next to the restroom area (which I hate, but my wife didn’t mind) I just feel those tables should be for the folks that show up without having made a reservation. Our sever was really nice and seemed to know the menu very well. We ordered some tasty drinks and appetizers. We tried the deviled eggs, which were good, just not ready for the cookout. We also ordered the backed oysters N’awlins style (nothing like New Orleans, but they were okay). We finished our appetizers and I finished my drink, then the waiting began. I’ll put it this way, we were seated around 5:15pm and didn’t get our entree order taken until 5:50pm our dinner got to us around 6:15-6:20. Not sure what took so long for our server to take the rest of our order. We both got the fresh catch of the day (which was Salmon) that was market priced at $52. I will say that the dish was ‘good’ but it was lacking something (my wife agreed). The fish was lightly seasoned, but it tasted like nothing else on the plate was. I have had better at a lower price point. Would I eat here again? Probably, because my daughter ate here and said the short ribs were really good. So we will have to see about that next time.

Very nice and swanky. Dark wood, low electric lightning but plenty of sunshine during the day because it’s surrounded by windows. The service was very good from the hostess, to the waiter, and staff.

We decided to have an early dinner before the Juan Luis Guerra concert. It was a party of four. We had a reservation and it went smoothly, we were sat promptly and enjoyed great service. Our table was rather small so we had to resort to the ledge of the windows to place some stuff, like the punch bowl we ordered to share. We did order the seafood tower, with fresh oysters, shrimp, and lobster. The oysters were delicious, but at $5/each they seemed quite the delicacy. We also went for a couple more appetizers, like the jalapeno corn bread, the tater tots, and the mussels. The tater tots were quite good, out friends really enjoyed them. Then, for entrees, we had the fish and hanger steak. My wife mentioned the fish, even though good, it lacked seasoning. The hanger steak I ordered was cooked beautifully and was very enjoyable. Overall, it was a nice experience, about $100/person, the service was great, and if they ever have oyster specials I’d definitely return!

Delicious food, fantastic service, and nice ambiance in downtown Tampa. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our service with Jess very much. Everything we had tasted amazing and was prepared perfectly. Definitely will be going back! The barrel aged old fashion was great!

Great ambience with a bustling bar front. Don’t be fooled with the lack of indoor seating upon entering the waiting area. You will be led by the kitchen area to 3 or 4 smaller rooms with tables. Very cozy atmosphere!

LOVE this place! With a variety of menu items at various price ranges, there’s something for everyone. The cocktails are fabulous and the food is delicious – best fried pickles I’ve ever had, and oysters were so fresh. Great service and a trendy, yet relatable, atmosphere are also a plus. The only downside is parking – we valeted at the Edition hotel across the street; however, our server mentioned they were working on a better parking situation. Can’t wait to go back!

For one, the oysters were $4 each which are high end priced and they were literally the smallest oysters I’ve ever had and they were east coast which are supposed to be the big ones. The worst part was my $28 fish and chips which came out with 3 tiny pieces of fish. Literally a kids portion would have had more. On top of that, when you opened up the fish, it was 90% breading. There was not even exaggerating maybe 2oz of fish in my $28 entree of fish and chips. Look at the pictures I posted and you’ll see. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but they’re charging premium prices for below average food, and at that price, it should be unacceptable to let that fish and chips leave the window.

Amazing place! Have had it in my list for awhile. It’s about 2 months old. Love the ambience , the food , drinks and service. The music was amazing! I was trying to find each song playing. We got the developed eggs, fried oysters, New Orleans oysters, hanger steak , Cuban , expresso martini , and the berry pie and brown sugar dessert. All worth it! 10/10! The service was fabulous and love the lamp from the Christmas story added into the decor.

Came for brunch after hitting up the farmers market on a Sunday morning. Got there around 11ish and was able to get a table with no wait.

Had a great experience at this brand new spot in Channelside. Servers were great, and bartenders were knowledgeable and personable. The margarita was better than most I’ve had around Tampa. I tried the Smoked whitefish spread and was very pleased. It was delicious (smoke flavor comes through and a great choice with the capers) but needed a little more bread for the portion. The overall concept / theme is cute, clean, and perfect for the area. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food menu in the coming weeks!
