The fish was very good. The burger was awesome, but the quesadilla was exceptional. Recommended. One thing we loved was the awesome customer service. When there is great customer service your willing to vacation around the same area again and again. You can have one waitress who is courteous, but when you have all employees with great customer service, you know something special is brewing here. To make it even better we were outside and the weather was very good. I have nothing negative to say about this pub. Will for sure come again.

Got a to- go order and was quite disappointed given the price of the food items. The staff was kind and friendly but the food did not reflect their service. The clam chowder was $20 which I find overpriced. I ordered the “broccolini and carrots” as a side and it was broccoli and carrots, so that was misleading. The sirloin burger was tasty and good quality. The spanikopita was mainly dough and small in size.

Stopped in randomly on a Sunday afternoon, sat at the bar and ended up having a great time. The burger and cocktails exceeded expectations. We ended up talking to both the bartender and owner for over an hour. Very friendly staff, great to see an emphasis on employing younger employees willing to learn. Customers seemed to be a mix of locals and those passing through. Everyone appeared to be having a good time. Sad we missed their live music Saturday. Will definitely return!

The Perch is the most magical place here in the mountain. Not only are the owners and staff absolutely the kindest, most generous group of folks we’ve ever met, the food is delicious. They serve HUGE portions and never once were we disappointed. Creative, flavorful, and YUMMY!! The owners usually come out and greet everyone, Angie will ask if the food is ok, and Luce in charge of drinks. The wait staff is full of sweet people who really care and want to get everything right and make your experience special. Please go here, you will not be disappointed and you will probably make new friends 🙂 -Betsy and Ryan

I was excited to go to this restaurant on our weekend in the mountains since it had such great reviews. It had a great view and the service was great, but the food was just awful. We ordered the fried chicken and also a pizza and both tasted terrible. We ended up leaving almost all the food behind. It wasn’t cheap either and there aren’t a lot of other options, so I wish I didn’t have to leave this review, but I figured it’s better to make sure future visitors are aware. Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but I would not recommend this restaurant.

Fun day of music outside, local eatery in the heart of the village in Pine Mountain Club. The food was amazing and were generous portions. I had the seafood special…very big deep fried fish piece over yummy fat french fries. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. The food is great as well as the environment. The staff is super friendly. We live about an hour away from Pine Mountain Club but whenever we go up there we make sure we stop by The Perch. We even took our families one time and loved it too!

This restaurant was absolutely HORRIBLE! I am not one to leave reviews but this one still has me reeling 9 hrs. later. The restaurant had only been open approximately 10 minutes when we arrived, so I was really surprised to see that the bar and almost everything in view was grossly dirty, sticky, residue enough of the glassware that I choose to skip having a drink. We ordered appetizers and almost made it through before we found hair inside that breading of the onion rings. We enjoy taking Saturday afternoon drives to find great eats off the beaten path. Sadly this was a big disappointment.

The staff were so friendly and fun, we sincerely wish we could have hung out here all night. We really liked the seasonal options of the food and drink, and everything we had was delicious. We recommend “The Ember” (a hickory smoked version of a classic Manhattan) and the Basil Blursday, which was very refreshing. While all of our food was amazing (including, surprisingly, the best sauerkraut I’ve ever had), what stood out most was the Char-SPOOK-erie board. Our servers convinced us to get it, and it absolutely did not disappoint- check out the attached photo! It made our night and embodies the fun SPIRIT (pun intended) of the establishment.

This place is so joyful and cozy and welcoming and I have never met a more passionate, joyful and lovely staff at any other restaurant. We came up to Pine Mountain Club for a long cabin weekend away and brought a great deal of groceries and a menu to cook ourselves. The first night we decided we were too tired to cook dinner and were happy to see The Perch was still open at 8pm in this very sleepy little mountain village. We went in the first days of April, which was still winter in the mountains, and the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming, and very Hygge. Lindsay was our lovely waitress and we ordered the Bavarian Pretzel and Clam Chowder with Tater Tots. The pretzel was … out of this world amazing! The chowder was also amazing. The owners Angie and Luce came around and greeted us warmly every night. They have so much passion and love for their restaurant and it shows. They’ve created a menu that is really super unique but also has a lot of comfort food. This place was so amazing we ended up abandoning our own menu for the weekend and eating here every single night. The fish and chips were the best we’ve ever had. The stuffed portabello mushrooms were also amazing. We also loved the chicken wings. We ate the huge bavarian pretzel every single night. The beer cheese dip just …ugh. Can’t even bring words to how good it is. I will say I was not impressed with the chicken tenders, but that’s chicken tenders for you. Everything else is so good I didn’t even care. Over the course of the weekend we also were served by Faith and Sophia. They were all so stoked to have us and everyone treated us like best friends. It was quiet on Thursday night, lively on Friday night extremely busy on Saturday night which I heard was normal for summer but was very unexpected for them in April. We can’t wait come back when it’s warmer and sit outside on one of their MANY outdoor areas.
