Great local spot. Fresh ingredients. Chill atmosphere. I love that this place features local artists by displaying their work for sale. I try something different every time I go. Quality items. Special touch, fresh flowers on the table. Items purchased this trip: iced hazelnut coffee, Spinach quiche, strawberry smoothie, and cinnamon roll. Bonus: overheard the owner tell another customer what they had ordered was not up to her quality standards and that she did not want to sell the item. Offered a refund or item exchange or told the customershe was remaking the item and it would be a wait. I thought that was awesome and appreciated her honesty and unwillingness to sell a sub-par product.

Love The Perk! This gem is comfy to kick back and relax with a book or chat up friends. I have been in several times for lunch and coffee and they are consistently very good. I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich with Okra chips. The last time I visited (a Thursday at noon) there was a lovely young lady performing original music. It was a real treat!

Ordered lunch, was pretty busy when we got there. We waited 30 mins and still didn’t have food all the people that were there when we got there had eaten and gone and we were still waiting on food. I went up to asked that they go ahead and make it to go because we were out of time and our good was just sitting there on the counter. Food was ok but probably won’t go back there again.

The current staff is extremely rude and incompetent. They’ve messed my order twice no apologies. First time was thru door dash the dasher said they didn’t put in my drink order so I had to get a refund.The second time they didn’t put the order in so after waiting over 20 mins they finally made my order and it was incorrect. So I just tossed it because I didn’t trust what they put into my drink. By far those 2 horrific experiences I won’t be going to them again.

The place is clean. The music was nice. Not busy when we went – lots of seating availability. The coffee was ok – better than Starbucks, but not as good as my other local coffee shops brew. Affordable for the size of coffee and additions. There were three kids managing the order taking – it was kind of a mess. New workers or the POS system, just to order a coffee and breakfast item took too long. Then it took even longer to receive the coffee and breakfast item. It looked like one woman was the only one making the food and there were a few tables still waiting on stuff ahead of us. We got there just before 11, so most everyone could have been waiting on lunch orders. Sorry, we won’t be going back.
